Tyranny of Silence

Overview
Taken as a child and raised into Widow ranks, Donovan "Tyranny of Silence" Acevedo is a prime political ambassador of Arachnos to both Paragon as well as the Vanguard. With mental abilities spanning the range of the Fortunatas, patience that would rival Scirocco's own, and physical prowess capable of getting him out of (and in to) almost any situation, Donovan is considered by many of his peers and contemporaries to be the perfect soldier, his only hinderances being the onset of age (though this is something he welcomes). Playing a major role in the agreements and negotiations between Lady Grey and Lord Recluse, Donovan is currently up to his neck in the stubbornness of the Freedom Phalanx and the 'training' of a Widow he recently met with.
Appearance
Donovan is a man of average height, and solid build. While he isn't bulky, like those males trained in Bane and Crab regiments, he is comprised of lean muscle that is only built where he needs it. It leaves him looking fit, but not conspicuously strong, an advantage in combat. His eyes are a dusky sky blue, devoid of that glint most other people possess, a trait taken from him by the strict and serious profession he chose. Preferring to keep his dakr brown hair cropped short, Donovan is usually seen with his hair pulled back with some sort of styling gel (in truth, it's a rare import that doesn't leave a residue). His sternly-pressed lips are not at all associated with his mood. Donovan cannot talk, therefore his mouth does not need to be open unless eating/drinking.
Personality
Donovan is a sharp and to-the-point individual. Orders are followed as they are received, and must be followed as they are given. His line of work in the politics and situation-prevention of Arachnos have left his sense of humor on a dry, twisted bed of nails that usually keep him from smiling. Should you ever notice him grinning, whatever is making him smile may not necessarily be funny to you.
Distinguishing Traits
Donovan's only real distinguishing trait is the fact that he is absolutely mute. He is unable to make even a small groan. This is remedied by being able to communicate telepathically (indicated by ::this:: in roleplay).

Weaknesses/Limitations
Donovan is human. He is not supernatural aside from his mental abilities, and bleeds when cut, bruised when beaten. His agility and speed are that of peak human ability. His widow training has allowed him to maintain a constant tap into the primal power of the human body, the strengths usually reserved for dire moments. This puts an incredible strain on his body, and is both a blessing and a curse; while it does help his body become stronger, at the end of the day, his rest must be full or he may not perform well in the period following his waking up.
Affiliations
People
Inquisitor Gabriel - This obviously sadistic woman with the fashionable shades and penchant for making her victims scream a little louder than necessary is Donovan's current "understudy." A chance encounter during a routine warehouse cleansing introduced them to eachother. Since then, Donovan has developed a twisted friendship with her, admiring her lack of complaints and willingness to carry out tasks. She is his only source of fieldwork, his second-favorite activity within his current position in Arachnos.
Organizations
Arachnos - As hard as it may be to believe (what with all the people rolling VEATs and plastering "NOT WITH ARACHNOS HUR HUR" in their profile), Donovan is one-hundred percent loyal to Arachnos. He is not unaware of the organization's imperfections, but his rank allows him to easily sidestep the projectiles and ire attracted by inter-supervillain politics.
