Re: Sysop Action

Please refrain from using the wiki to air your differences with other players. OOC drama is not welcome here, ever. I've reverted the edit to Succubus Half that appeared to be added for that sole reason. -- Price 17:54, 3 November 2010 (CDT)

I am a little confused, but I respect your ruling. I recall adding a footnote because I was tired of answering repeated questions about the presence of a particular character on the page. If it appeared to you to be a case of "airing differences", I'll just have to assume it probably appeared that way to others, regardless of how it was intended. --Yuki Yoroi 21:35, 3 November 2010 (CDT)
I believe what Always is referring to is the VirtueVerse ettiquette and What VirtueVerse is Not. Its generally a good idea to leave any comments out of a page that may refer to OOC issues or for lack of a better term drama. The pages are meant to be a character biography in character, so out of character comments are out of place and often can incite another user to retaliate to remove the remarks and can start an edit war over a page. So in general we suggest people avoid OOC comments that are potentially inflammatory towards other player or their character. - Ransim 13:12, 4 November 2010 (CDT)
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I hadn't even thought about the OOC nature of the footnote when I entered it - just got tired of repeatedly answering the same question, over and over, regarding why a particular character was listed. I've eliminated the original source of the question, so that it shouldn't come up again. Now I'll go study those guides and do my best to commit their advice to memory. --Yuki Yoroi 13:27, 4 November 2010 (CDT)
