Virgil is humanoid, but not human. He has extensive knowledge of human anatomy, but no knowledge of his own. In fact, he can't figure out how to remove the bio-suit. His knowledge of human anatomy makes him shudder to think what he will smell like once he gets it off. In truth he does not perspire and the bio-suit takes care of all of his hygiene.

Personality

Virgil is warm and friendly, but reserved. When questioned about himself he will respond honestly, but will not volunteer anything beyond what was asked for. He understands he is short by human standards and sees no humor in it.

History

His memory is blank up until two weeks before he met The Captain and set off in his starship. He has been working to reconstruct his past, but his progress has been discouraging because the memories were actually removed, rather than suppressed.

His actual background is one of a highly trained battlefield medic trained to heal human thralls well enough to return them to battle. He was declared surplus when he began to show genuine affection for the slaves in his care which impaired his efficiency and, therefor, his usefulness. He will probably never discover this information.

Abilities

Virgil is a masterful healer and had actually been modified for this sole purpose.

Weakness & Limitations

While his bio-suit provides for his bodily needs it offers little protection in battle. Unlike the human fighters that he he was responsible for, he was easily replaced and therefore not worth the expense of protecting.
