At least five Votes have been active since the 1920s, from the wharfs of Independence Port during the Golden Age to the beaches of Normandy, from the jungles of Vietnam to the mean streets of Kings Row when Superadine ran epidemic. Although often entangled in controversy, the mantle has always stood for liberty and the responsibility that comes with it, and as testament to the power of the individual to change the world. One man -- one Vote -- can make all the difference!
The current Vote is a relatively new hero, fighting with a suite of technologically augmented senses that allow him the preternatural ability to be where his enemy's blades and bullets aren't. Any connection between PCU grad student Jacob Nguyen and the Vote is circumstantial at best.
