Winsome Blue/Gone Feral

The mirror reflected it. In its flat surface was a woman. A woman covered in the brownish red of dried blood. Every surface. Ever piece of her naked flesh boasted proudly of the hunting that had been done.

"I think it be somethin' different lass, it be almost like there be a bit O an animal inside O ye."

Her mouth said the words. “Animal.” Was she indeed finding that part of her? She stared at herself. Walking to the mirror a shaky hand rose and traced her reflection. What was she? Was it this mentalist side that brought on this new drive? This new craving for the hunt? Had she been around Sully too long? Was she losing her humanity?

"It made me tingle.. warm inside. It was exhilarating and wild like stepping over a cliff. Scared yet... not."

That's what the blood on her lips had done. That's what its taste, its feel had done to her. Every swallow was different. Each moment longer it touched the air changed it just a little. Each person, each creature that was shredded had a different taste. Her hand no longer traced her image. She wanted to tear her eyes away from this person but she couldn't.

Black Wolven growls in her ear "Come lets find your animal"

Her laugh had echoed in that sewer. The water had been cold in contrast to the blood. She could remember it clearly and the memory caused her to shiver, small goosebumps forming underneath the blood, dirt and grime. A voice in the hall caused her to turn. The pups were stirring, no doubt playing. She smiled, only to lose it when she caught sight of her reflection once again. Taking her hand away she stepped back. Stepping back until she felt her bed bump her knees she sat. Her eyes roamed her room. This was her new room, the one next to Sully and X's. Closer to them. Was closer good?

"I'm not... I'm not like you in the sense that I eat people, Sully. That heart was a step.. was somethin' yes. But to eat their flesh." She shakes her head and looks up at him. "I can eat regular food. I'm not a wolf. I'm.. just a woman. No matter what feralness is in me.. what I can do with you.. what you see. I'm still what I am and I don't want to cross that line.”

That was her saving grace. Eyes shut as she remembered. Sully, the wolf and hunter, standing over the torn bodies. In his hand he held out a chunk of flesh. Even now her stomach turned and she shook her head. She was not a wolf. Whatever these feelings... whatever this change, this part of her... she was not a wolf.

Winsome Blue inhales deeply. She can feel the blood dripping down, covering her chin, down to her breasts and then a few drops hitting almost loud against the ground between her spread legs.

He'd held her to him as his maw dug into the man's chest cavity. She'd watched first hand, smelled it, been sprayed by the hot blood as her friend and mentor ate the still beating heart. That had been the first time she'd dropped to a crouch, the first time she'd been beside him as if she too were a part of the savagery. Her hand went to her necklace. It was covered in the blood as well. It had hung there all day, a reminder of the man she couldn't wait to see. As she'd run forward into the fray, as she'd backed away from spirits meaning to terrorize her, as she'd felt the force of that one bullet that had went through her side, had knocked her to the ground, with every movement and breath there was a part of her that wanted Don beside her with arms ready to hold her. Glancing down you couldn't tell where it had been, you couldn't tell that she'd ever been wounded. Sully's healing lick had seen to it that she was alright. Lick.... She'd licked the blood from his maw. Crouching there, naked and covered in blood, she'd licked the blood as if she were one of his kind. Would that be something Don would ever see? Would he be a witness to what she did? What would he think? Fear began to find a place, taking hold on that single thought. What would the man she love think of what she'd done... of what she'd be doing again?

Black Wolven picks up a body and holds it up looking straight into Blue's eyes. As he does he growls deeply and opening his jaws tears the throat out severing the spine and showering her completely with blood

Slipping from the bed she sat on the floor, still naked. Knees up, her arms wrapped around her legs. Fingers entwining her head tilted back to rest on the soft mattress behind her. It had felt like a bath. Though they were people she had accustomed herself not to feel for them. They were trying to kill them both. Safety. I still don't kill. Another saving grace. There had been no reason for her to kill. There had been those they left that were taken down by the might of her own mind. When the awoke they'd see what had been done and they'd fear.

Black Wolven smiles and nods "There is an animal in all humans, and if you learn to harness these new feelings you will become stronger as you go on" Winsome Blue nods. "Somethin' akin to a person's need to fight.. to battle.. to see who's stronger?"

Would she? Would she indeed become stronger? What she had felt... that adrenaline and that rush of energy. As they fought, as she participated in the hunt, she had felt stronger. More alive, more ready to take on what came at them. Again... would Don understand? This wasn't who she was in every fight. He'd fought beside her against the Rikti. He'd cleaned and bandaged her wounds, kissed every bruise. Words slipped out unbidden, “Oh Don.. will you love this side of me too?”

Winsome Blue looks at him with a hungry look and wraps her hands around his offering. She drinks.

It was becoming a ritual. Though she no longer ate of the hearts, she would occasionally hold one, small and warm, above her. She'd drink and then pass it to Sully and he'd eat it, tossing it into the air as if it were a Goldfish or a grape. Licking her lips she bit her lip and shook her head. This wasn't her eating a heart. She'd done that and Don knew. He'd taken it in stride. There was hope he'd understand.

Winsome Blue nods to Sully, taking a deep breath. Her eyes grow fierce. "Lets."

She'd heard her own voice. Calm yet eager. Had that look been on her face when she'd returned to the pub the day before? Had it been there as she'd given Nikolai and Ajax the tour? They'd seen her as she was now. Naked and bloody. Sully had raised his brow at that. Serving cookies and milk while standing as a testimony to their day's activities. Sitting there in her room she was glad she hadn't went to the common room as she was. Though there was a part of her that enjoyed the freedom a part of her was hesitant. Again... what would Don say?

Winsome Blue glances over at Sully and growls, snarling a bit. "I can embrace this part of me."

Standing she went to the dresser, pulling out clean clothes. Her hands no longer shook. Remembering was good. Today and yesterday were parts of her, steps she'd gone through. Whatever feral qualities she embraced, she was still herself. Taking a deep breath she glanced at her naked self in the mirror and said aloud. “Be you, Blue. Just be you.”

-It was later and she was angry. Flying high she did twirls and spins, almost dancing in the air in a frenzy. It was as if by doing that she thought she could rid herself of that taste and feel.

X should've known her better! Damn her!

Blue stopped and hovered, head down. It was her own fault. She'd spent most of her time with Sully. It was to him she felt the most drawn. Time with X had been limited. Though they'd both been a part of certain sexual experiences and had played their game of flirtation since the moment Blue'd stepped into the pub there had yet to be much time for talking of who and what they were. Blue'd never shared much of her feelings with that courageous and strong woman who made up the pair she'd given herself to.

Spinning she dropped, plummeting through the air till she entered the water below. Cold. She bobbed to the top, wiping the wet hair from her face and ridding herself of the water in her eyes. Bobbing she listened. Birds. A boat. And the sound of small waves. Nothing else.

Laying back she closed her eyes and lifted her body so she'd float.

There would have to be time she spent with her. Never again should this happen. Even now she could feel.. could taste that eyeball.

Frowning she opened her eyes and took to the air. Water streamed off of her, a waterfall in the air. Spinning she sent the water straight out, making herself just a tad dizzy. Drunk flying? She laughed just a bit and then her thoughts returned to that eyeball.

X had plucked them out of the Council Werewolf just before Sully had held a different body aloft with the purpose of showering Blue. Her mouth open, drinking the warm fluid there had been that sudden gagging sensation of something that had no business being in there and in an instant Blue knew. X had thought it funny but it wasn't.

It was only confusion and fear that had kept her from lashing out, from crying and demanding that X understand! She should have KNOWN... but again.. it was Blue's own fault.

It was her fault and she'd remedy that soon enough.

Turning in the air she flew.

-Blue hear tenkalus's voice in her head from a great great distance-

Hold on to your humanity. It is what defines you. I cant be with you now. but I will always be WITH you, always....
