Origins

Wishborne came into existence as a combination of the wishes and dreams of a group of magically gifted children. These children, having suffered in their lifetimes, put all their energy into imagining an entity that would support them through their hard times. And imaginary friend of sorts. Each individual child imagined his or her own ideal friend or guardian angel. While many children have imaginary friends, these particular children, being so invested in this entity and magically gifted, created a pool of magical energy that resulted in what is now known as Wishborne. These children never met each other or the entity they created but their hopes for the entity have been made flesh.

Having been created of the dreams of various children, Wishborne has no other name at the moment though in time she may have to adopt one.

Personality

General calm and kind, Wishborne has an upbeat personality though more serious when she's healing. Her childish origin leads her to feel uncomfortable in crowded settings though she has a fascination with older, more experienced heroes, much like a child would idolize their favorite parent.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Since the children witnessed much violence in their lives, they desired for a peaceful entity that would heal their wounds both physically and emotionally, thus Wishborne's offensive abilities are dismal and barely worth noting. Her personal defenses to physical and magical attacks are also low. Psychics have some effect on her but not much.

Outfits (or the Children)

Danny Davis (or Outfit 1)

Danny Davis, at the age of nine, watched his mother get hit by a speeding car. The woman died three weeks later, having never emerged from her coma. Danny, taking personal responsibility for his mother's death slowly became more reclusive as he grew older. He invested all his emotional energy into an angel figure whose ability to heal would help his mother heal her wounds and protect her from the car (the angel could go back in time after all). And for good measure, it would be able to pop the tires on the car to keep it from hitting his mother.

Danny's dreams, the strongest of the children as he held on to the entity the longest, had the strongest impact on Wishborne's powers. Her outfit, designed mostly by Danny features medium armor that provides both protection and flexibility. Metal plates on the wings also provide protection to the most critical part of the wing.

Caitlyn Smith (or Outfit 2)

Caitlyn was born with empathic powers. From a very young age she was aware of the thoughts and feelings of people around her. Her parents disagreed on how to deal with their gifted child and her classmates were wary of her. No one wanted to be her friend (or couldn't be her friend) because she always knew what they really wanted. By age ten, Caitlyn had no friends and her parents had separated. She retreated into her mind, barricading herself from the thoughts of the people around her and created for herself a friend and guardian who eventually became her best friend.

From Caitlyn, Wishborne gained her compassion. The kindness in her personality is derived from one little girl's need to be understood and loved without question despite her differences. This results in the "regular" outfit, something Caitlyn liked to wear and thought her friend would be comfortable in too: a simple jacket over a tank top with jeans and comfortable shoes. In white and pink of course. Even though angels wear white and gold, Caitlyn thought pink was a friendlier, more approachable color.

Abilities

Empathy

Empathy Empathy gives you the ability to heal and aid allies as well as yourself. Empathy has no offensive powers, but its heals and buffs are unmatched.

Empathy HealingAura.pngHealing Aura

Healing Aura restores some hit points to you and all nearby heroes. Healing Aura is not as potent as Heal Other, but can heal multiple targets at once.

Empathy HealOther.pngHeal Other

Heals a single targeted ally. You cannot use this power to heal yourself.

Empathy AbsorbPain.pngAbsorb Pain

Dramatically heals an ally's wounds. This power has only a tiny endurance cost, but it requires you to sacrifice some of your hit points. Absorbing someone's pain can be quite dramatic, and afterwards you will be briefly unable to heal your own wounds by any means.

Empathy Resurrect.pngResurrect

Resurrects a fallen ally with full hit points and endurance. The resurrected target is left protected from experience point debt for 20 seconds.

Empathy MindWall.pngClear Mind

Frees an ally from any disorientation, hold, sleep, fear, confusion, and immobilization effects and leaves them resistant to such effects for a good while. Also, grants target clearer perception to see hidden foes. Protection will improve with multiple applications and as you advance in level.

Empathy Fortitude.png Fortitude

Fortitude immensely enhances a single ally's accuracy, damage, and defense to all attacks.

Empathy RecoveryAura.png Recovery Aura

The Recovery Aura dramatically increases the endurance recovery rate of all nearby heroes for a limited time. Emitting this aura costs you a lot of endurance, and it takes a long time to recharge.

Empathy RegenerationAura.png Regeneration Aura

The Regeneration Aura dramatically increases the healing rate of all nearby heroes for a limited time. Emitting this aura costs you a lot of endurance, and it takes a long time to recharge.

Empathy AdrenalinBoost.png Adrenaline Boost

Dramatically increases an ally's endurance recovery, hit point regeneration and attack rate for 90 seconds. Also grants the target high resistance to slow effects.
