Personality

(coming soon...)

Powers

Primary Set: Archery

Since Woodland Elkhorn is an archer by profession, it is natural to take that skill up when fighting against environmental ills.

Secondary Set: Electric Manipulation

The Shul family of woodland sprites harnesses the power of electricity in their daily lives. Woodland Elkhorn performs basic skills with electricity. This will get more potent as he matures.

Additional Powers

Travel: Flight

As Woodland Elkhorn matures, he will learn how to fly in human form.

Power Pool: Fitness

Natural running and flying is not enough in a fast-paced world. Woodland Elkhorn will train how to run and fly faster.

Abilities

At this time, the only obvious ability is that Elkhorn can shapeshift between a human form and his natural form, a sprite.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Equipment

Woodland Elkhorn is seen wielding a bow created by fellow sprite and master bowyer Kapi’Psilas. This bow is very resistant to wear and tear. Also, it can light up an arrow for more devastating attacks.

Character History

Shul’Thalnas was born sheltered by the woodland sprite tribes in northern Japan. These tribes protect the forest from anyone who not only misuse the forest, but also misuse the name of the forest for their own goals. At an early age, Shul’Thalnas was trained to become an archer within his tribe. However, he would not stay in Japan for long.

During the 1950s, one tribal leader, Elkas’Nathiel, decided that there were too many tribes in northern Japan. He felt that one tribe should move to protect a lightly-protected forest somewhere else. After much thought, he decided that his tribe should move to Paragon City after sensing a lack of support in the city's forests. This meant that the Shul’Thalnas and his family (who were under the rule of Elkas’Nathiel) were to move to Paragon City as well. The tribe eventually settled in Perez Park and began living comfortably due to lack of environmental attacks.

That all changed when the tribe witnessed an attack on their home by members the Nemesis Army. (Since Nemesis rarely stayed in Perez Park, it is assumed it was a failed ambush operation.) The soldiers began to dismantle the forest. The tribe needed to react and fast. Elkas'Nathiel decided to shapeshifted into a human being, and he struck back. More members of his tribe, including Shul'Thalnas shapeshifted as well and fought off the Nemesis invaders. After several casualties on both sides, the invaders fled. Elkas'Nathiel then retreated outside the forest for several days. When he returned, he announced that any members of his tribe that want to help out with Paragon City's environmental troubles should visit City Hall and become a licensed hero through MAGI. Shul'Thalnas was one of those who accepted the offer and became Woodland Elkhorn.
