• Just a quick note: Xaphan's origins are all religious based, I've taken a lot of time to check things over and make a logical history for him, he is in no way a reflection of my own personal religious or demonological views.
Origins: Xaphan was born countless centuries ago long before the war in heaven and hell. He was one of the countless angels who fell alongside Lucifer. The only thing that set him apart from the other fallen was his creative streak. Supposedly it was his idea to set fire to heaven before the fallen could be cast away. Due to his success he earned the envy of the other fallen. His creativity was soon used against him however. After the failed war he was held accountable for the failings of the fallen and forced to fan the fires of hell he created. An eternity to burn in the flames of hell.
Personality: Xaphan keeps his spark of creativity in all things, but with his sometimes brilliant ideas come horrible failings. He lacks all senses of insight and cannot comprehend the slightest meaning of patience. This is even exemplified in his combat styles, he merely seeks to cause as much harm as fast as physically possible. However, he tries not to allow others to perceive this as a fault, and to counter it focuses his time and energy on making others react to him. He is a reckless prideful and all around self centered villain.
Abilities: Xaphan has a variety of abilities along with the ones that come with being an ashen. The man thing that drives his ashen form apart from the other demons is it's ability to alter it's aura. Allowing him to take on any energy signature at anytime. His ability to do this means he's capable of absorbing most elemental forms of power and some divine forms of power simply by altering himself. This allows him to take deep cover when necessary but he rarely does so. The most destructive use of his powers is to warp the aura of his ash clouds causing them to detonate in a myriad of ways.
Weakness's- While Xaphan is capable of altering his aura to make certain types of attacks ineffective against him he cannot do this with more then one element at a time. If he does so his ashen form would begin to detoriate very quickly. Mixing the elements is in fact how he gets his ash to explode and would prove disastrous to himself.

Simi'Kraz- While the differences in their personalities is as obvious as night and day. Xa'phan has a deep respect for Jewel, he ensures what orders she wants completed are done, and trusts her intuition over his own when the time comes for the Ashen Queen's visits. As the two remaining generals of Abyss Empire they have no choice but to work together but, comments from both of them seem to suggest they do not mind the situation.
Grinning Guillotine- The Jester of the Abyss, by far one of the most active and loyal members of the group. The two have similar personalities which sometimes clash to over the top proportions. Of late the two have kept on putting slight differences aside and working together much more efficiently because of this.
Neutral
Xeden- While viewed as an enemy by Christian, Xa'phan does not see Christian in such similar light. He makes blatant decisions to help Christian whenever possible but because of the history between the two it appears Xa'Phan is toying with him. The truth is actually the complete opposite. Due to certain decisions Christian has made in his life Xa'Phan believes Christians soul is already forfeit to hell. He actually views this as an injustice, and offers to aid Christian in whatever way, much to Christians dismay.
Metal Raven- Once one of his closest confidants, the relationship between the two has taken a bitter turn. Xa's reckless hatred of any he views have wronged him, lead him to bring to ruin anything Raven comes close to.
