Agent Sierra Delacroix is a Longbow agent that is also registered as a hero in Paragon City. She fights crime using a prototype beam rifle developed by Longbow R&D, and with various gadgets she has made or salvaged.
History
Sierra Delacroix originally joined Longbow for the same reason so many others do -- she wanted to make Paragon City a better place. With no powers of her own, Longbow seemed like the best fit for her to make a difference. As a lifelong techy, Sierra had a knack for repairing and maintaining equipment for herself and her fellow Guardians. What got the notice of her superiors is that her aptitude extended to complex technology that she had no business being able to repair.
After roughly half a year in Longbow, Sierra was given an opportunity: Longbow wanted her to field test one of their prototype weapons. Among their lower ranks, she was the only one they could expect to handle an unfinished piece of incomplete technology, and anyone higher up was considered too valuable to risk. Sierra pounced on the chance, excited to use her expertise for the greater good. She had no idea that this project would result in her becoming an officially-registered hero.
One otherwise calm morning, Sierra's unit responded to a bank robbery. The villain Libertine was plundering the King's Row bank, and had already made short work of the PPD. In a showdown between the two, Agent Delacroix put down Libertine and sent him fleeing. Unbeknownst to both of them, the entire affair was being recorded by one of the bystanders and was uploaded to the Internet within minutes. Agent Delacroix found that she had become a sensation almost instantly. The Freedom Corps, always eager for good PR, encouraged Sierra to embrace her newfound fame -- and even try to capitalize on it more by registering as a hero in Paragon City.
And register she did. Though she's not quite as famous as she was that fateful morning, Agent Delacroix has been fighting the good fight and bringing down villains left and right. To her, that's more important than being a household name, anyway.
