In high school Alexander Knight was probably the neediest kid you’d ever meet. He was very observant of the people around him and had a keen instinct for knowing people that way. Alex, however, held a deep crush on one of his class mates, Renly. So he made a friendship ring in jewelry class for him and gave it to Renly. One summer, Alex’s parents decided that he didn’t have any friends and invited pretty much the whole school to their lake house. That’s when Alex came out to Renly and kissed him. The reaction wasn’t what Alex thought it would be. Renly outted him to everyone, including his own parents. Alex’s life changed alright, but only for the better. He realized after that moment that nothing had changed at all. His parents still loved him and the kids at school still treated him like dirt. As for Renly, he disappeared soon after that incident and Alex never heard from him again. Alex took it upon himself after that moment to change who he was by being who he truly was.
Years passed by when one day Alex suddenly shot radiation from his hands and started to produce sound vibrations too. He had become a mutant, just to add to his already list of qualities that made him different and strong, this too would strengthen him.
