The duties of an Arbiter seem to be quite simple: to keep Arachnos from falling, and to ensure that The Etoile Islands remain a sovereign nation. Arbiter Auclair is among the youngest of this elite group of Arachnos agents, at only eighteen, he was appointed an Arbiter of St Martial Island. When questioned on the promotion of such a young Arbiter, High Arbiter Daos is quoted as saying "Arbiter Auclair is perhaps the most promising upcoming agent we have. He is calm, tactical and perceptive. Working towards his objective with a determination and loyalty that should be an inspiration to all Arachnos. We're sure to be keeping our eyes on him for some time". Living in The Isles from the time he was just five years old, Auclair understands and respects the nature of our powerful nation better than most. As such he has garnered an extensive reputation for being knowledgeable of the Isles' many denizens and factions. A leading proponent of stability and sovereignty of the Etoile Islands, Arbiter Auclair refuses to be drawn into the stereotype of most Arachnos agents.
Auclair's history is a mix of confidential and personal, what he has chosen to share with the public is both obvious and easily found in public records, for posterity we have gathered what we can here in this file. Born in Texas, USA, Auclair soon moved to our nation after his parents were fearful that him and his twin would be hounded by the government after displaying latent minor meta-human abilities at very young ages. After making fast friends with the Golden Giza card dealers, they began to treat the twins with a certain brotherhood, from here the other Auclair disappears, but the Arbiter's story begins to meld with Arachnos. Quickly working out that the Spiders were apex forcein the Isles, Auclair's rise from Operative to Arbiter in just two years will be documented further on in the file. Current whereabouts of one of our Silver Spiders seems to indicate he has been sent on a mission to Paragon City and Christian James' Axiom Guard.
