Jocelyn 'Mikey' Fisher is fated to be late.

She'd been a late surprise addition to the family of five (she has two older brothers), she'd been born two weeks over her due date. She was late to crawl, late to walk, late to class and it wasn't any real suprise when she'd been late to bloom. But at 18, discovering you're a mutant isn't really something you want to put on your birthday cake; "Hey ma, I want spandex for my ₂oth birthday! And by the way, can you make them aerodynamic, too?"
