The Book of Black Circles is a moderate-sized book, bound in black leather and bearing three intertwined circles on the cover. The vellum-like pages are actually human skin, and the writing inked by human blood.

History

The Book of Black Circles is a great tome of necromancy; not the first, but certainly one of the best. It is a relatively new tome, though it collects millennia-old information from various realms (both Earthly and otherwise). Very few necromancers can be said to understand the entirety of the tome; even Black Jack Rackham, with his ages of experience, is no master of the book. There remain secrets to be discovered....
