Appearance

The Shadowcaster is an ancient amulet made of a large emerald set in silver, and usually worn as a medal or brooch for a cloak.

Power

The amulet allows it's wielder to meld into shadows, to move undetected, as well as wrapping shadows about the wielder to ward off attacks. Those under the Shadowcaster's cloak are extremely difficult to sense; "shades cast no shadows."

History

The Shadowcaster is empowered by an archaic (and presumably lost) Power of Darkness and Shadow. It is not certain where Black Jack Rackham obtained this item, though it's suspected to have come from one of the many Tsoo artifact shipments Jack has intercepted.
