Backstory

Amy Jensen is the only child of Norman and Lucy Jensen. She was born in Winchester, England and had a plain-as-day childhood until she was kidnapped by goons working for Dr. Sevchenko.

She spent the next few years in Sevchenko's secret laboratory, where she, and many like her was subjected to experimentation using cybernetic implants. Many did not survive as their bodies would reject the augmentations. Amy was one of the few exceptions, whose body showed no adverse reactions. Dr. Sevchenko performed various tests on her, and used many samples of her DNA in an attempt to create a solution to the problems faced by other test subjects.

Sevchekno's ultimate goal was to create armies of augmented super soldiers that could be used by Arachnos - to make supers out of ordinary folk.

She was augmented with various kinds of neural implants, as well as a spinal augmentation which granted her psionic abilities previously only available to those with magical ability. Her right arm was replaced with a mechanical prosthetic with a built in blaster cannon.

After enduring years of torment in the labs, Amy eventually snapped. She rampaged through the labs, using her psionic abilities to hemorrhage the minds of any scientists or guards that tried to stop her. She ran from the labs as far as she could until she eventually collapsed from exhaustion.

She was found hours later by a group of rookie supes who revived her and brought her back to Paragon City. From there, she was introduced to an institute for young people with powers where she was taught how to control and manage the powers granted to her by her augmentations and to use them for good. She took on the alias, Blue Medusa.

Present

Amy helps the heroes of Paragon to fight crime and threats to the city. Many heroes are concerned of her lack of regard to the lives of the criminals she fights, as she shows little restraint. She does not care if her crime fighting results in death if she feels the criminal deserves it, though for more petty crimes, she will restrain herself and instead aim to terrify the criminal before leading them to their arrest.

She hopes that her time helping the heroes will eventually lead her to Dr. Sevchenko's secret lab, where she can lay waste to the place and finish the evil Doctor once and for all. She spends a lot of her downtime finding clues and researching missing persons cases, hoping to find leads that will help her find the lab.
