Affiliations
British Sterling is currently working as an agent for the Secret Intelligence Service or MI6 which is the UK's intelligence agency. Since taking the "Superspy" modification she has been transferred to a special Super Powered division codenamed "Ravenswood" which was created during WWII to combat the genetically altered menaces that was released on the Allies by a desperate Nazi Germany toward the end of the war and has been expanded to include aliens since the first Rikti War, the bureau is headed up by a faceless bureau chief codenamed "Agent Saxon".
Personality
Right now Samantha lives a double life and both personalities are diametrically opposed on one side you have a divorced mother of a 13 year old girl who is trying to keep and protect her normal home life and on the other you have the typical "type T" personality who craves the thrills of being a super spy and protecting the world from madmen and villains, Samantha walks that razors edge every day trying to keep both personas apart.

British Sterling is able to absorb all forms of energy be it kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical or nuclear and channel it into a blast of energy at a ranged target.

British Sterling can only absorb so much energy around her and if more is going in than she can redirect it will begin to do harm to her body that may result in superficial wounds

Reversed engineered Rikti Bio-tech health aid device, it helps her or her teammates with a temporary rapid response should they become wounded.
Character History
During the Cold War Samantha Sterling was an agent of MI6 when she volunteered for the “super spy” modification, the procedure was in response to the modifications that Red Star had performed on his elite super group the “Oktober Army”. Since the information on the procedure from the Russians was incomplete there was no telling what the side effects were, but w/ Red Stars rogue missile attack was just hours from destroying London that was a risk that had to be taken. After the procedure Samantha was able to be a conduit by absorbing all forms of energy around her and storing or redirecting it into ranged or melee attacks, the only apparent side effect was that all her hair had turned a slivery white. With but minutes of training in her new found powers and with the help of the Statesman & Hero 1 they intercepted the missile attack & prevented the possible start to worldwide nuclear devastation.
