Biography
Born June 6, 1961 to an Irish family in New Orleans, LA Jim grew up relatively happy, despite his family's sorry financial situation. Jim's father, Sean, was always working at least two jobs, and most times three, to support his family. His mother Kathrine was a stay at home mom who took care of him and his 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Yes, Jim comes from a big family. They lived in the hard part of town and Jim and his brothers learned fast to get tough or get hurt. They often got into fights, and it was this fact that made Jim beg his parents to let him take karate lessons. Jim's father was all for the idea, but he knew the family could not afford it. Jim offered to take on odd jobs after school to pay for these lessons on his own, and his parents agreed. (( to be continued ))
