The Path to Evil

On the night of May 11th 2012, Casey James was taken from his home in Steel Canyon by Crey Operatives. Their goal was to create a living weapon. One that could take out an enemy with one attack. Their plan was to turn Casey into that weapon, by making him a human lighting rod, cable of reaching voltages of 10,000. He was kept in a Crey cell for a day until they were ready for him. On that day, two guards dragged Casey out of his cell and took him to the experimentation room. There, they stripped Casey's shirt and strapped him to a metal table. The Crey doctor then injected a substance into Casey's left arm. This was to amplify his body's natural electricity.

Beginning the process, the Crey doctor pushed a button, and a device shot Casey's chest with electricity at a very high voltage which spread through his body. Casey screamed in agony, getting what little words he could to beg them to stop. The experiment was a success, Casey was now a living, breathing lightning rod. All at the cost of his right arm and jaw, which the Crey had to replace with cybernetics.

Casey was then dragged back to his cell, this time, barely conscience. They threw him in there, in which Casey hit the wall and fell to the floor. He was so exhausted that he couldn't get back up, so he slept on the floor all night.

The remaining week were performance tests after performance tests. The Crey forced Casey to test his newly given abilities. They tested range, accuracy, lethality, power and the like.

May 18th 2012, Casey made a bold escape from the Crey. He escaped one night before Phase II of the experiment was to begin. He eventually found himself in the Rouge Isles, desperate and helpless, it seemed to Casey he had no other choice but to resort to villainy. He doesn't bother changing his name to a more "villainous" one, has he feels that his name could be well known if he rises up the ranks of the Rouge Isles criminal underworld.
