Character History
Origin
Jason Blackstone had always been a good kid growing up, and always believed in helping those in need. For his ninteenth birthday, Jason's parents took him on a trip to Greece. During an excursion where his tour group had been viewing ancient ruins in Athens, the Circle of Thorns had arrived, lead by a powerful mage, and demanded that the tourists choose someone as a sacrifice to aid in their search for an ancient artifact. Fearing for the other's lives more than his own, Jason offered to be the sacrifice. As they bound him to a stone, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck Jason, and enveloped him, making him vanish. Jason awoke in a chamber, and before him, stood a tall, scarred, muscular man, who in his hand held a sword that seemed to be made of bronze. The man spoke to Jason as he smiled softly at him. Jason, you have made me proud as I've watched you ever since you were born. With the action you have just made in Athens, when your own life was threatened, you have proven further to me that you are indeed my son." Jason could not believe what he was hearing. "Who are you?" He asked in astonishment. "I am Kratos," the man replied, "the god of strength, might, power, and sovereign over rule. More importantly, I am your father. And you, are a Demigod. Now, go, and use your powers to protect the people who are threatened in Athens. Simply say the word "dunamis" when you are in need." With that, Jason was teleported back at the stone,only this time, unbound. The magi and his sorcerors attacked. Jason was afraid, and remembered that he had to call the spirit's name. "Dunamis!" He bellowed, only to have lightning strike him once more, transforming him into a hero. Jason defeated the sorcerors, saving his parents and the tourists, and returned home to Paragon City, vowing to use his powers to protect those who could not fight for themselves, and took on the name Demigod Omega.

Kratos
Kratos is a god from Greek Mythology: The god of strength, might, power, and sovereign over rule. He and his siblings, Nike (Victory), Bia (Force) and Zelos (Rivalry), were the winged enforcers of Zeus, angel-like beings who stood in attendance of the heavenly throne. [1]
Kratos is the name of the main protagonist from the God of War series, but this is not the same Kratos mentioned in Demigod Omega's backstory.
Dunamis
Dunamis is the Greek word for power.
