The Cirque du Nocturne is a ghost circus.

At the turn of the century, the Cirque du Nocturne roamed village after village in Paragon until landing in The Rogue Islands. The story goes that several children went missing and days later turned up dead nearby. And the circus, with its oddities and freak shows, was an easy target. The townsfolk formed a mob and trapped the carnies in their big top. They set the tent ablaze, burning all inside to their deaths.

Jay-Jay Noir, the Ring Master at the time, has come back for revenge on the people of the Rogue Isles and to find the spirits and descendants of his Circus family.
