History

Born Blind
Cécile was born in Paris, France on September 16, 1980.
Having never developed irises or pupils in her eyes, Cécile (pronounced SAY-seel) was born blind. Her parents had originally thought she would grow up needing special aid, hower during her infancy she showed remarkable signs that she was still able to see, reacting to any movements they would make. Doctors could not explain the phenomenon at the time and dismissed her "reactions" as random movements. As she grew older, her parents realized this was not the case, as Cécile seemed to see fine most of the time. However, she always seemed to have trouble finding things unless someone else was around watching her, and she would always lose interest in her toys the moment anyone looked away.
Outer Sight
In her years growing up, she had no difficulty when it came to tests and learning at school, but again suffered tremendously doing homework unless someone else was watching what she was doing. Her parents worried about the issue, but thought it no more than a learning disability and continued to help their daughter with her education. She always seemed to have trouble navigating the family household as well, occassionally bumping into walls.
As she entered into her teenage years, Cécile finally admitted to her parents that she is fully blind on her own, but she is somehow able to see using the eyes of others. Her parents were at first confused by her words, but quickly realized what she meant after she placed herself in another room and asked her parents to look at each other and hold up different numbers of fingers. Her parents were astonished, almost happy for their daughter, however they were also sad that she could not see on her own. They took Cécile to see many vision specialist doctors all of which had never heard of the condition and all they could recommend was that she learn braile and carry a blind walking cane for times when no one is around. Cécile decided that it was probably for the best.
Kidnapping
News reports beginning on November 22, 1997, were reporting that Cécile Rousseau was kidnapped while on her way to school one morning. Friends and family, the police, and many other people searched all of Paris to try and find the girl, but no evidence came up anywhere about the girl's disappearance.

Present Day
After her kidnapping, Cécile decided not to return to her family for fears that something may happen to them. To this day, Cécile has not returned to Paris after her kidnapping.

Appearance
Cécile currently wears a black leather jacket, and leather pants. They both have a purple stripe running down the sides. She has red hair, however it is tucked up into her berret most of the time. She carries a gun on her back and wears a chain of bullets around her shoulders. If you glance at Cécile, she might already know that you are looking at her, even if she is not looking at you.
Personality
Cécile seems good natured most of the time, but can also come off somewhat high strung. She sometimes thinks she is superior to others and does not like it when people view her blindness as a handicap
Traits
Although she is capable of speaking English, French is Cécile's first language. She speaks with a very heavy french accent and sometimes interchanges words from both languages.

Capucine Gaudet
After arriving in the Isles, Cécile had met Capucine Gaudet, another member of the Magnolias. It appears that Cécile refuses to do any jobs without having Capucine around, most likely as she uses her telepathic abilities to use the eyesight of Capucine and her mercenaries.

Cécile is a french name that actually means "Dim Sighted One", and Rousseau means "Red haired!"
