History

The figure that now walks the earth utilizing the title of Coelacanth is a physical symbiotic paring of a magical, monstrous being that existed within ancient years, and the once human Josef Dientzenhofer.

The nameless (far as anyone knows) creature's existence dates back to BC, where it's exact origin remains unclear, though some believe it was the result of misused magical practices. It was both worshipped and feared as an ocean deity to human developing civilizations across the eastern coast of North America, where it was dubbed many titles though none true standing. The ancient deity was infamous in destroying entire villages and creating widespread confusion upon those that angered it - typically those that saw it for the negative presence it was and refused praise. It wasn't until the efforts of a dozen mystical practitioners forced and trapped its essence into the bones of a deceased creature that the coast could resume its peace. The once feared deity reverted to a caged monster, forced into hibernation and dropped into the depths of the ocean.
