Alanna is a necromancer, born into a family with strong connections to the underworld. While her family is now gone, Alanna continues their traditions, including running the failing occult book store, Ex Libris Mortis. She has taken to working for vile sources in order to support herself, using her knowledge of necromancy to accomplish any task placed before her.


Official Biography

"In the midst of life we are surrounded by death, something we all know, though many choose to ignore. Many will go along with their lives, not giving the slightest thought to their own mortallity until the bell finally tolls for them. I on the other hand, have stared into the face of death long enough to understand its secrets."

"I was born from death itself, even as I took my first breath, my mother gave her last... it is not a moment I can recall, though my father took it as a sign, and often reminded me of the event. It was because of this omen that my father decided to teach me the art of Necromancy, even from an age far below what would be normal. In truth, he seemed to be right, I latched onto every book I was offered, unlocking its mysteries and by the age of twelve I had already become adept at manipulating the forces which govern our world."

"When I was eighteen my father left this world, and the burden of taking over my familys buisness was placed squarely on my shoulders. I decided not to stay on my fathers estate, but rather to sell it and move out into the world. I was eager to find a place for myself, so with what money I could gather I left for the Rouge Isles, following the stories I had heard, and I began to make a new home for myself."


Alanna has mostly kept to herself since moving to the Isles, and only recently has she taken up the mantle of a 'villain' in order to support herself. She has fallen in with numerous occult groups since she began to venture out, though her strongest bond is with House Lestat.


A quiet, and inquisitive person, Alanna is most comfortable watching large groups from afar, though it is not unlike her to strike up conversations with those she finds interesting. Alanna can be both playful and focused, depending on how the day has gone, though no matter what her mood she prefers to be as non-confrontational as possible.


Alanna is well versed in the numerous uses of negative energy, though even now she continues to study, probing into lost texts in hopes of unlocking their mysteries. She can manipulate the forces of the underworld to summon spirits and animate corpses, as well as draining her foes of their life. While she is most comfortable watching a battle unfold from behind her undead servants, one should never underestimate the power she can call upon should she be threatened.

Beyond her abilities to create chaos using her Art, Alanna is also a very studious person, and should the need arise could easily research any topic.


A dark red jewel that hangs from a chain like a necklace. Few would recognize this for what it really is, a phylactery holding the soul of a lich. This item never leaves Alanna's person, as it gives her the ability to summon and command the lich who is bound to it.

Current Affairs

Alanna has taken to researching the rituals needed to become a lich, though she has not shared this information with anyone, even her closest friends yet.
