For details of Cyborg Lincoln's life up to 1865, please see Abraham Lincoln on Wikipedia.

Some time after Lincoln's reburial in 1901, his remains were stolen from his tomb in Springfield. It is believed that Head Alien III was involved, but he claims to be involved in pretty much anything, especially if it involves grave robbing or mind games. In the 1920s, a reanimated Lincoln was seen wandering around northern Canada. During the second World War, Lincoln was outfitted with Nemesis-based cybernetic enhancements after sustaining damage heavier than even his healing abilities could overcome. Since then, there has been less and less of the original body left - the only original organic components are a partial skull, face, and spine. Cyborg Lincoln disappeared in the late 1950s while on a mission in South America, and was not seen again until he wandered into Outbreak in 2007.

Although he is fairly reasonable most of the time, Cyborg Lincoln is prone to malfunctions due to the imperfect interface between the remains of his organic brain tissue and the cybernetic replacements that keep him alive. When these malfunctions occur, Lincoln becomes uncommunicative, and will attack anything that moves, until he runs out of targets or is beaten badly enough that his OS reboots. Very little of the original Abe Lincoln's personality remains - much of it was lost either to the bullet that killed him, or 4 decades of decay.
