A man shrouded entirely in mystery, very little is known about the man behind the death mask. What is known is that he was originally a soldier of the 5th Column. Upon the Columns integration from The Council however, Dead Number quietly slipped away into the shadows and was supposedly not heard from again. Though it was easy for many conspiracy theorists to connect Dead Number's disappearance to several unexplained deaths amongst The Councils ranks, and a few reported deaths of select individuals outside of The Council as well.

For years all these mysterious reports that no one could link to a killer were made in and out of Paragon City, until the day that reports of Dead Number appearing again on Mercy Island were being made through out Arachnos and some of the remnants of what remained of the 5th Column. All attempts to contact him by groups either wanting to recruit him, or get him back in their ranks, have so far been met with complete failure. Trying to actually spot Dead Number in the Rogue Islands has also been nearly as unsuccessful since much of his equipment he uses has enabled Dead Number to make himself invisible to the naked eye, making it so that he is only seen when he wants to be seen. Despite this, it has been confirmed by those that have been able to catch view of Dead Number that he has apparently taken up work as a mercenary and assassin for hire. Having already performed work from the Mercenary, Burch, and the mad scientist Dr. Creed. What purpose or reason behind this sudden work however, is unknown.

Life Today

As has been confirmed, Dead Number has taken up the life of a mercenary and assassin for hire. Since he tends to avoid people unless he has business with them, having any actual social life is almost unheard of with him.

Personality

Having virtually no social life to speak of, Dead Number is lacking in what one might call an actual personality. When he does interact with others, he is very flat toned and methodical in his words, preferring to stick to topics that involve whatever business has brought him to interact with said individual, rather than just kill them.

Powers

Dead Number technically has no super powers to speak of. His abilities steam entirely from his own abilities in the martial arts, as well as his field equipment and the special stealth suit he wears at all times. Though he does posses extensive knowledge of Human anatomy, and even knowledge on some inhuman anatomies, which makes it possible for him to easily strike with fatal to near fatal blows when dealing with his targets.

Weaknesses/Limitations

As previously observed, Dead Number doesn't actually posses any super powers of any kind. No magic, no mutations, no accidental scientific powers, nothing. While this may not stop him from being able to deliver strikes that can and will cause severe injury if not death, it’s still possible for his opponent to over power him if he isn't careful.
