the Defiler
Defiler Rohesia is a dark-nexus demon, one of those many creatures born from a verse filled with dark energys, they were brought fourth when this realm cracked open and spread out its power into this dimension. The Defilers being but one cast of powers amongst these demonic beings, Rohesia herself one whom can consume, convert and corrupt technology to her being effectively merging it with her magics and channeling through it, most defilers simply are born being able to corrupt and bend a specific element to there will, those that bend metal and tech are among the more rare.
How it began
The Dark Nexus burned a hole in this universe-its influence pouring out and manifesting its taint, the origin of this entity that spawned fourth the Demons is unknown but one thing is for certain, the first ravaged all things devouring enemy and there own kind alike these few dwindled down to the Overlords, god like entity's of vast demonic power whom spawned more to carry on the bloody wave of destruction.
One of these Overlords spawned Defiler Rohesia with another creature not there own... her powers were very unstable in the beginning but the ladys ruthless cold determination was undeniable. This was all unraveling through time until the Manifestation of the demons from a place known as "hell" created much unrest, The celestial order would soon mobilize to destroy the dark nexus.
casualty's were heavy and soon they were forced to pull there full attention to the hells, to those of the dark nexus it was uncertain why but never the less...it continued how it began, with blood, destruction and enslavement of other races. Defiler was forced to slaughter and devourer her younger siblings while this all went on, they knew she was different and hungered for her soul, In time she became stronger using the power her demonic lineage gave her-avoiding her overlord during all this and venturing out to other worlds, the Dark Nexus expansion always growing.
Defiler attempted to wrench herself away from her kind, unable to escape...the hunger her siblings seem to have for Rohesia's soul.
insight
those of defilers demonic race differ in many ways from there hell-born cousins, being they cannot be banished and tend to be incapable of true emotional attachment (half breeds seem able to express something but never the less, it is still viewed as a hindrance), power, strength and relentlessness are what is typically respected in there culture- those unable to elevate themselves in any way are devoured to fuel anothers power or subjugated to be enslaved by there own-some of these end up filling the ranks of the "unworthy", those doomed to never rise in the ranks and die for there "betters" in war.
This does not end there prejudice and segregation as they also look down on mortal races just as any other demon but take this a step further- refusing to treat any with respect, the general view of other such races are they need to be destroyed/enslaved, war and death being what they thrive in and will always welcome such even at the cost of themselves-in fighting does occur even amongst the stronger members of the race to simply gain more power for themselves-the only thing keeping all in check to not simply burst into one big civil war are the ungodly powerful overlords that keep this demonic race organized.
The Overlords themselves seldom ever stand on the front lines, completely convinced of there own superiority they send others to do what needs to be done, should something of there level appear or a event that would force them to act, it is only -then- that a Overlord will lift a finger.
further more if one of there race has any psionic abilities this usually manifests in very vivid and almost dangerous visions, this usually ends up with the "Gifted" individual being sheltered for the rest of there existence, used for there insight and never allowed to fight or leave there world, often enough there visions fueling the cause of whatever Overlord ruled over there particular world.
What the nightmare spat out
through the unholy binding of power and flesh spawned Lilireth the vile, her very being embodying fire and poison, the demon spawn fit in neither "parents" breed, the void designing her to be the vile reflection of all things pure, its opposite.
Within a matter of weeks it would seemingly grow up and mature, feasting on mortal kind as she explored the world not having any discrimination of faction, Defiler would set her loose to learn and grow on her own with all the intentions of this creature becoming a blight to the celestial order-crafted by two ruthless races of demon kind.
