From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
This whole thing needs to be redone.

Description
Enigmatic, charismatic and problematic. All of these words sum up the man known as Deus in short order.
It's impossible to know exactly when he appeared on the scene but the mark he's made since is undeniable. Everyone from small time gangs to major paramilitary organizations find themselves becoming dependant on his ability as a Fixer. Even so, they all know to carefully word their contracts because once his end of the deal is done he'll sell out his initial buyers on the next deal.
The extent of his skills are unknown but he's shown affinity in fire arms, explosives, blades, and in multiple forms of unarmed combat. Any meta-human abilities have yet to be confirmed.
Opening Notes
The man referred to as Deus is an informational void. So far all attempts to garner knowledge on him lead to dead end after dead end. Even though he's only recently surfaced in the underworld he already has a big name for himself as a Fixer. We assume this means he's been around for some time but there's no way to be certain as, previously mentioned, his identity is still a mystery. We do know multiple law enforcement agencies want him for everything from theft to kidnapping.
Target has also been classified as a meta-human appearing to have some degree of energy manipulation. The source of these abilities is as of now unknown. Approach with extreme caution.
Affiliations
In his dealings Deus has racked himself an impressive portfolio full of contacts. These individuals range from dyne dealers down in Darwin's Landing all the way up to Arachnos Arbiters located around the Rogue Isles.
Organizations
Umbra Syndicate
The name Umbra Syndicate continually appears in my investigations on Deus however this group seems more enigmatic then the man himself.
Council
The business relations between Deus and the Council appear volatile at best. While their contracts and dealings often seem to go fulfilled there is undeniable tension if not out right violence. I have on multiple occasions witnessed Deus enter a Council base unharmed only to see him breaking through a line of guards and fleeing hails of gunfire.
One of my deep cover agents within the Council also claims to have heard whispers of Deus stealing a one of a kind prototype from a research cell as well as destroying all of the data setting production back months if not years. At least one cell will no doubt be gunning for his head.
Arachnos
A high percentage of his dealings with Arachnos is acquiring under-the-table jobs, the kind of things Arachnos doesn't want anyone to know they have their hand in.
Crey
Out of his contractors corporations in the high-tech industry are his highest employers and Crey seems to rank number one on that list. Data theft, research destruction, scientist kidnapping, all of these things are a scratch on the surface of the contracts he receives from Crey. They know what kind of individual he is and appear to have no problem working with him.
Goldbrickers
Relations with this group seems to be little more then fencing their stolen goods. Though, I have witnessed a few arguments and fights between Deus and the Goldbrickers, their relations remain businesslike.
Skyraiders
Even though you would assume they would have no need for Deus' line of work they still find ways utilize him. More often then not less for equipment and more for scouting and intelligence.
Contacts
A list of his contacts is still being compiled, expect frequent updates.
- J4ck Cr4ck: Hacker and Streetdoc under the employment of Deus.
- Blackjack Jones: Enforcer and Shylock under the employment of Deus.
- Six the Sniper: Assassin and bodyguard under the employment of Deus.
- Matthew Leech: Demolitions expert under the employment of Deus.
- Savage Rage: Enforcer under the employment of Deus.
- Crimson Darklight: Black Mask who occasionally uses Deus to fence stolen goods.
- Malandro: An odd man in white with an unknown tie to Deus, assumed enforcer.
- Saturday Voodoo: Another Black Mask who has been seen with Deus on multiple occasions both on the field and in Pocket D.
Personality
As I am sure you can imagine by his alias the man has a bit of a superiority complex. He seems to think he knows about everything that goes on around him at all times, maybe he does. In any case his light hearted attitude and sense of humor about dire situations makes him look to be poorly suited for his profession though he some how makes it by. I can only assume due to his quality of work.
Operations
Short summary of ongoing story.
With the unprecedented success Umbra Syndicate has had in the Rogue Isles Deus has since become known as the face of the organization. Many have speculated that he has been the founder and true mastermind behind the syndicate all along but now that is a moot point. The number of organizations becoming entrenched in dealings with the syndicate continues to grow every day. Many see the only real obstacle left for Deus to tackle as Arachnos. Which would explain as to why he's begun dealing more and more with the spiders.
In a recent development Deus has earned himself an increased threat level among the agents of Longbow due to his part in the murder of Agent Ace McKnight.
---LONGBOW ALERT---
