Didatch
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
'Didatch is a Torian, Torian's are from Toria, Toria is where Didatch comes from'.'
The akaviri
The akavirus's were once one of the most respected and honored one of the families on toria however with the limitations put on practicing necromancy by the emperor of toria they were down to a shade of their old fortune. Until, Grenth the firstborn child of the akaviru came along he was a genius in the art of necromancy at the age of 12 and could use his powers to destroy entire regiments of torian imperators. It was during the Grenth's golden days of mastering necromancy that didatch was born. To the rest of the family he was nothing in comparison to his brother however what he could not do via necromancy he attempted to make up for in raw skill. And he did progress faster then most would however, that was not enough to keep him out of his brothers shadow. Over the years Didatch came to accept the fact that he was not going to have a future of any importance. However the war with vega changed much.
During the course of the war didatch was drafted into the ranks of the imperators while his brother became an accomplished magus who held didatch's regiment under his own command. The war would prove to be a bonding ground for the two of them and their regiment quickly achieved glory. With that glory came new and more dangerous tasks one of such was to retrieve a long lost torian artifact stolen by the vegans and buried under the eveshifting sands of the planet Malekoth 4.
The artifact
The artifact was stolen from the imperial city on toria during the inital invasion by the vegans a royal treasurey was looted it contained one of torias most historically important items, an orb around three meters in height and diamater that was used by the emperor to decipher every one of the ancient torian arts without it many of the torian magics would be lost too the ages. So with the intent of saving his people Grenth set out his brother and his regiment in tow. Upon arriving at malekoth the regiment picked up a small reading of arcane energy coming from deep each of the poles. Didatch was sent to the bottom most pole his brother to the North. It was obvious the poles were a ruse the torians were slaughtered by a group of vegans who had been corupted by the ancient magics in the orb. Didatch however refused to allow the men placed under his command to retreat and for months a bloody hidden war under the sands of the planet was waged.
