History
Child Hood
Jemal Webster was born in southern California in the late 1988 to a single mother and a happy home. He grew up as a brilliant kid staying on task at school and even participating in sports every now and again. However there was a problem that annoyed all of his teachers, he would always be drifting off staring into space and day dreaming. The weird thing was when he did this it seemed like he was not there to other people like he disappeared. His mother and younger sister eventually noticed this as well. On a hunch they took him to a doctor, a researcher in the human psyche. He was astounded when he saw Jemal's body begin to turn transparent. They classified him as a mutant and told his mother he must have the ability ot turn invisible and manipulate light. How wrong they were.
Teens
Jemal's powers were growing more and more each day and it became apparent that it was not to bend light. He had been to every doctor and geneticist in the country even mutant experts could not pinpoint what his powers was. This was potentially dangerous he could become a danger to other people and himself. It was not until a Physicist who came to Jemal's high school for career day say him and recognized the phasing immediately. After many tests he had written a report stating that Jemal was not phasing in and out because he could bend light. Jemal was phasing in and out of reality itself. He was crossing over into another dimension it is very possible the creatures his imagination has come up with over the years are actual organisms from these other dimensions. It is clear from the test results that there are primarily three that his brain and body are linked to. Not Only that but Jemal was also bringing back small amounts of energy from these dimensions. His contribution to the scientific community could be limitless and an experiment had to be done. Since they were low on money and needed to pay the rent Jemal's mother went to him and asked if it was alright and Jemal of course agreed.
The Experiment
Arms and legs hooked to machines Jemal stood in the middle of a large room with some sort of crystal hanging above him. His mother watched nervously through a window above.The Physicist started the machine and asked Jemal to concentrate. Jemal thought long and hard about the creations he had come up with over the years, the machine started to roar and the crystal glowed and a dimensional rift opened. A single eye opened up filling the space of the rift looking down it said "Look it is the boy, has he finally controlled his powers?" Jemal and the scientists could not believe their eyes, his mother just stood there in shock witha grin on her face. The eye looked around the room then looked down at Jemal "I must close this boy you are the only connection between these worlds, I won't lie this will hurt and you may be nauseas for a couple days otherwise you'll be fine." With that the rift snapped shut and Jemal collapsed.
Recovery and Destiny
Jemal was awoken by his little sister sitting on top of him and giggling. His mother rushed over stroking his forehead. The Physicist walked in shortly after with a smile on his face, he told Jemal that the information they gathered was amazing and that it seemed only Jemal had the means and power to go to these dimensions and visit these beings. Not only that but the experiment showed strange energy readings coming from Jemal. He had brought back more energy than before and amazingly...retained it. Looking at his hands they glowed a faint dusty black. He smiled he knew he could use his powers some how to change things for his mother and sister, somehow get them money so they can finally live comfortably.
While recovering at home Jemal had heard shouting and what sounded like sword hitting metal then gunshots. He looked out his window puzzled ever since the police raided the buildings down the street there hadn't been any gunshots. He saw several men and a few women surrounding what looked like a middle eastern man holding a sword. His locks fell behind his head and he wore a brown helmet and held his sword high in the air. The individuals surrounding him had on some kind of armor and were covered in black. "This isn't right" Jemal said to himself, he sat and concentrated like he did before trying to find the right dimensional rift to draw that negative energy from....BINGO!. The energy surged from his hands and covered his arms. He rushed out of the apartment snatching up his keys and ran down the stairs. The Man with the sword swing a wide arc and electricity bolted out taking down 4 of the mercenaries. The man shouted "So you've found me but did you seriously think you could take me down!!!" Bam suddenly two of the black dressed mercenaries fell to the floor and there stood Jemal behind them his arms now flowing with negative energy, he couldn't believe he could keep the rift open.
The mercs turned their aim towards Jemal but the man with the sword took them all down before they had a chance to adjust the scope. "You're very brave boy what are you doing here" Said the man pointing the sword at Jemal's throat. Jemal looked up and held his head high "I saw these guys attacking you I thought you needed help but I guess it was easier for you than I thought." The man smiled and began to laugh "I am Scirocco." Jemal raised an eyebrow "excuse me?". Scirocco raised his sword back up this time resting between Jemal's eyes "It is polite for two warriors to introduce themselves especially when they have fought together." Jemal pushed the sword down slowly and smiled "Oh well I'm Jemal, nice meetin you but I gotta get back moms told me I shouldn't leave the house till I completely recover."
Scirocco stopped Jemal from leaving and began explaining to him the power he could have if he came to a place called Rogue Isles. Jemal was shocked he had no idea he had helped a villain, in fact he planned on signing up to become a hero. It ends up that Scirocco had come to meet a contact who was doing a job for him but the group called Longbow disguised themselves and got there first taking down his contact and setting a trap. Scirocco filled Jemal's mind with promises of money and protection for his mother and sister. Jemal knew that you were not paid for being a hero it was something you did from the kindness of your heart but he had hoped he would find a way. However this deal Scirocco was promising seemed much better. Money he could take, and it would never be traceable to his family.
Scirocco gave Jemal directions on a note to a cargo ship that would be able to sneak him into Rogue Isles without any suspicion should he decide to join Recluse. The man then seemed to just disappear, Jemal waited for his mother and told her what happened. After slapping him for getting out of bed and involving himself in something that could have killed him she calmed down. She knew this was wrong she didn't want to allow it. However she knew Jemal, he would do it anyway. She begged him to just finish college first hoping he would forget about it but Jemal had another idea. He would go to college at the same time and still continue to gain more power to rise through the ranks of arachnos. He was determined to do whatever it takes, however he could not have his mother and sister move to the Rogue Isles no if something happened to him or someone tried to usurp his future endeavors his mother and sister would be in direct danger. He knew about the cutthroats there in the Isles, there wasn't even a promise that Scirocco would not come after him if her grew too powerful.
So Jemal created a costume and thanks to his little sister a name...Dimensiono and told his mother and sister to move as quickly as possible. He would send word for an address and if at all possible to stay in California, though Scirocco had been here once it was very unlikely he would again villains often did not leave Rogue Isles and even when they did it was for Paragon or at the furthest the Midwest but it was rare for them to come all the way to the west coast. Jemal had to think of every possible angle and he did. With his costume and stolen chest armor from one of the fallen Longbow he left.
Present
Rogue Isles
Having just arrived in the Rogue Isles and recieving word of his families new place he can finally start his climb to the top. His manipulation over dimensional space has grown and is still growing. So far he can only teleport from the Isles to back home thanks to his friends in the dimension from the experiment.
Personality
Dimensiono is not necessarily evil, most of the time he does not like the things he does and can sometimes be heard muttering a prayer for forgiveness. He has turned down many jobs that involved hurting innocent people but has come to realize that many of the people he deals with in missions are usually evil themselves. Dimensiono is still a normal fun loving person who tends to joke around a lot and can be made to laugh pretty easily. However he is hardly the type to start a conversation to people he does not know showing his shy side.
Powers
Dimensional Manipulation
Dimensiono as you already know receives his powers from three dimensions that he has a special connection to and because of that can borrow some of their energy to aid him. One dark dimension he calls Obsidian he uses for his attacks and the people there are especially hostile. The Second he calls Zummari with it's keeper Drogen the giant eye that peeked through the dimensional rift during the experiment. He uses the energies from this dimension along with Drogen's help to teleport from place to place with no effort at all. Right now he is working on a way to teleport great distances and short instead of just back home. He is also close to finding a way of teleporting other people even though Drogen says is extremely tricky, dangerous and a waste of time. The third Dimension he calls Aethos a strange void of a place where the people are like Dimensiono they feed on the renewing energy particles around them and even use it to power their technology. They are in the middle of teaching Dimensiono how to drain different energy signatures from living things in his world to power and heal himself. They have even worked together with Drogen to teach Dimensiono how to create small dimensions inside himself, universes of his very own which are used as a way to filter that drained energy into his body and also allow him to control his powers better switching between the three dimensions more easily
Negative Barrage
Able to draw upon the dark and negative energies from one of his three alternate dimensions he can surround his fists in this energy and use it to attack his enemies. This often leaves them weakened and disoriented sometimes barely able to raise their fists or punching at air. Dimensiono uses these attacks in rapid succession to ensure the effectiveness of this side effect. His favorite attack 64 fists of doom actually widens the dimentional rift allowing multiple fists from the beings of that dimension to come forth with his and pummel his enemies into nothing.
Teleportation
Currently working on a way to teleport from place to place within the Rogue Isles. Dimensiono does this by entering the Zummari dimension, well throwing himself through the dimension. He enters at such an extreme speed he flies through their world and into another opening within the blink of an eye ending up at his desired location here on earth. Dregon has helped Dimensiono many times when he has missed his mark and needs help getting back before his total velocity slows down. Apparently their concept of physics and distance is completely different from ours. Traveling a few feet there could equal miles here.
Dimensional Energy Drain
All beings are made of energy this holds true no matter what dimension you are in. However there is also dimensional energy that is used to keep each universe in balance and seperated from one another. Of course not completely seperated because people have often used technology to manipulate or drill between these barriers. What most don't know is that each living person holds a certain amount of this infinitely renewable energy within them as well and Dimensiono can drain it out of them thanks to the people from Aethos. He can even heal his own wounds.
Willpower
Dimensiono is not completely dependent on the different beings from these universes for all his power, he also has a strong will. Not just to fight but to survive and thrive. To make things better for himself and those he cares for. The physicist theorized that the Dimensional beings look upon this with favor and that is why they help him. When in battle Dimensiono has been shot stabbed and burned yet his body pushes passed the pain and even his wounds may heal.
Weaknesses
Dimensiono has no super abilities or control over elements to protect himself with and even his own willpower is not enough to withstand everything. With enough force he can be taken down. Going through man made dimensional portals can also cause great pain, the feeling of being burned from the inside out. Dimensiono needs a few minutes to literally close the doors to the dimensional rifts within his body before entering. He can also become stuck in any of the three dimensions. This is something that has happened at least twice in each one. The problem being that the concept of time and space is different in each. For example a day on Aethos may be a couple hours in ours. Zummari has the closest, taking the time there and cutting it in half such as a month equaling 15 days. Dimensio prefers not to talk about Obsidian. His enemies did find a way to trap him in these dimensions but he found a way to change his energy wavelengths preventing them from shutting the open doors before he could go through them and destroyed all evidence of their project.
