Species: Maxwell's Demon
Age: Unknown
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 85 pounds
Eye Color: light green
Hair Color: dark red
Biographical Data
Nationality: Plane of Chaos
Occupation: Minor nuisance to physicists
Place of Birth: Plane of Chaos
Base of Operations: Rogue Islands
Marital Status: Single
Known Relatives: None
Known Powers
Able to see individual molecules, and calculate their velocities instantly. Can influence the movement of particles to cause a change in energy at a location. She does this without expending any actual work, just swaps particles in high and low energy states around (Causing a net energy change of 0 in the overall system, but a decrease in entropy).
Known Abilities
Can't actually be killed. She can be bound or banished, like any demon, but she seems to be able to recover from any injury, given enough time. She claims that she once lost a hand, which she grew back, and then the missing hand grew a new her. Given the nature of most of her claims, it's hard to tell if this is actually true or not.

Dis is my second attempt at a Cor, the first was a fire/dark which I didn't like at all. She mostly serves as an outlet for my natural insanity, as well as a convenient place to make really nerdy jokes about physics and math. I'm not sure what inspired me to make her exactly, as like most of my creative things, it happened around 2-3 AM when I was very tired. I do remember getting her to level 6 with a different name, and then suddenly realizing "Wait, Maxwell's demon would be a WAY better name for her". But that was taken. So after 6-7 tries at various names related to entropy, I settled on the word "Disgregate", and made it sound more demon-y.

Also, I know I've based the concept on pretty weird physics, she's a magic origin character, just go with it :P

Personality

Dis Grigatei (Pronounced "Dee Gre-gatay") is very, very hyperactive. She's a Maxwell's demon, so she never really consumes any energy. It just kind of keeps building, and building, and building...

Dis can seem very strange at times. This is to be expected, as, being a chaos demon, she's quite insane. However, her insanity is not to be mistaken for stupidity. Although she may talk like an over-caffeinated cheerleader, she has a knowledge of particle physics that would rival most PhDs in the subject.

Dis enjoys the simple things in life. Explosions, chaos, gradually raising the temperature of a system by allowing the slower than average particles to escape while sealing in the faster ones, that sort of thing.

History

Dis wanted to be a succubus, but they said she was too short. So she became a Maxwell's demon. She doesn't think she was too short, and feels that all those other air-headed bimbos just didn't want a succubus that was good at math to make them all look stupid.

Dis didn't arrive that long ago, she managed to break into reality when a riot in the Zig got particularly out of hand, and created such a localized zone of chaos that reality dipped into Dis' home dimension, creating a doorway. Since that time, she's spent most of her time either dancing in pocket D, or making things blow up. It's hard to tell which she likes more.

Powers

Dis' powers are an interesting little anomaly of physics. She is able to influence the temperature of spaces around her by changing the distribution of molecules around, so that the average temperature of the room remains constant, but all of the faster than average molecules are gathered in one spot, raising the temperature of that area.

Because Dis does not actually change the energy level of the molecules, she actually expends no work. Although her personality may not seem like she'd be the type, she actually uses a very subtle touch to achieve profound results.

She uses the same principals to affect the average energy level in a person - the practical upshot being that she can drastically alter someone's speed or power through no apparent action of her own.

Trivia

This article about a character is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?
