For once, form followed function in this character design. I am absolutely and utterly in love with the Storm Summoning set. After having played Storm Summoning/Electrical Blast, Storm Summoning/Radiation Blast, Ice Control/Storm Summoning, Storm Summoning/Sonic Blast and Fire Control/Storm Summoning, I wanted a character that would use Storm Summoning and the Dark Blast set. One much too early morning, after having been up for way too long, the pieces just kind of fell into place.

Personality
He likes it when people call my Gypsy and he behaves the part. Superficially friendly and outgoing, obviously not too fond of the truth, but never in an insulting way, always a smile for the ladies and maybe a peek down their cleavage, Doomwing tries hard to live up the stereotype of the loveable rogue.
The revelation of his powers and his true heritage have instilled a rudimentary sense of responsibility in the young drifter, but it really only tends to show when lives are at stake. Outside of a life and death situation, he can always be distracted by a smile or a free drink.
Powers
The son of a human witch and the paragon of stormcrows, a quasi-mythological creature, Doomwing has inherited fragments of both his mother's magic and his father's birthright.
Shape-Shifting
Doomwing's most obvious ability is the power to take on several forms. He can look like a regular everyday human, entirely take the form of a large stormcrow or adopt one of two hybrid forms. The first one is still mostly human looking except that a pair of resplendent black wings grow from his back and his eyes become entirely eclipsed by blackness, now resembling a bird's. His lips, nose and ears recede in this form, and speaking becomes hard, his voice taking on a scratchy, smoky tone. The second hybrid form is even closer to the bird form; Doomwing's feet become talons, his hair feathers and the appearance of his face starts to clearly resemble a bird's in this stage.
Storm-Calling
The first secret Doomwing's father instilled in him was that unlike common folklore would have it, stormcrows do not follow the storm. Rather, his father insists, they bring the storm with them. As carrion-eaters they call the storm to ravage the land for them so they may dine from a well-filled table in its wake. Doomwing has inherited the Storm-Voice, able to call harsh winds and even ice and snow which but a croaked syllable.
Currently, Doomwing is however very limited in the scope of this ability. While can cause drastic effects locally, they all seem to be short-lived and he has not demonstrated any lasting power over local weather patterns.
Shadow Magics
Inherited from his mother's side is the ability to wield wisps of shadow as a weapon, using them to bind foes or bludgeon or cut them. Doomwing has no idea what he is toying with or how, he only knows that he can do this, and he uses it as he will.
Doomsense
Another power inherited from his father's side of the family, Doomwing can sometimes foretell the future. He does however lack any control over the prophetic visions that strike him. The only thing that is certain is that everything he sees is only ever negative things. Natural disasters, car crashes, people's deaths. This is, seemingly, how the stormcrows find their food.
