Character Description
Dr. Jennifer Perlis is an intelligent, fun-loving, and cultured woman in her mid 50's. Her hair is a light brown, although it is greying slightly. She has a small frame and is of average height for a woman of her age, but her mind is still as sharp as ever. She is an accomplished zoologist and an Adjunct Professor of Ethology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a kindhearted woman, since here job requires a deep amount of compassion for living creatures. This compassion carries over into her socialization with humans, as well as being a parent. Although Dr. Spencer Perlis was very well-behaved and exceptionally mature as a child, his brother Derek was like any normal child and did get into trouble. When reprimanding him, Jennifer was not overly harsh or soft. She knew just the right amount of reprimand to give and both her sons love her deeply.
