About Drake
Drake has undergone many retcons and finally a total reimagining of his character. His creator guarantees that this will be the last time. OR ELSE.
The Story So Far
Origins
Drake is from an alternate Earth where magic and technology exist in a tenuous balance. In his world there are humans that, with training and the natural talent, can surpass the average human level and go as far into the superhuman as their natural abilities allow. If Drake is any indication these people in his world are very similar to the metahumans of our world, except that like our mutants their abilities are completely natural. He came to our world for one reason. Vengence. His most trusted friend had joined the villains of his world and killed his true love. And like a coward he fled through an interdimensional portal in the final battle, hotly pursued by Drake despite cries to stay. Drake doesn't try and say he followed in the selfless attempt to save our world from the danger posed by his one-time friend. He did it out of anger. Out of wrath. For vengence. Shortly after arriving in our world, in the Founders Falls district of Paragon City no less, he and the traitor engaged in a battle that, by the end, had leveled several buildings and gained the attention of many people, friends and foes alike. In the end his enemy was slain. His vengence fulfilled. There's just one problem.
He can't get home.
Powers
Dual Blades
Drake uses two longswords. Though he is also proficient in a multitude of firearms and other melee weaponry as well as hand to hand combat. His mastery of dual longswords is unmatched by any normal human. Even most metahumans would be hard pressed to keep up with his skill and mastery of the blade.
Superhuman Physical Abilities
He is stronger than an average human is capable of being, faster, and is capable of some physical feats non-metahumans can't hope to achieve.
Magical Abilities
Though he dabbles magic is NOT his strong point. With training he could possibly become a competent Mage but as it is his skills are lacking. But there is plenty of room for improvement.
Willpower
Drake's defining quality, the quality that has carried him through countless battles and caused him to press on when others would have fallen. The quality that kept him standing after taking wounds that would have felled many hardened fighters... is his willpower.
The thing about willpower on Drake's world is that it is a powerful force when used by the right people. It is the key to Drake's abilities. All of his abilities aside from his skill with the blade. It gives him his regenerative abilities, his superhuman speed and strength. And his ability to win in the face of inevitable defeat. It makes him the man that makes the impossible possible.

Drake has the capacity to master other abilities... he just doesn't know it yet... and may never.

None. He's a new comer to our world though. He's bound to make friends... and enemies.
Hobbies
He can maintain his own blades, is pretty good with gadgetry, and maintains his own motorcycle.
Weaknesses
Unlike other metahumans Drake is still, essentially, human. If you drop a nuke on him he WILL die. However, a bomb can go off in his face and he MIGHT live. He gets injured and he gets tired. He is also reachable through injuring friends if he has any, like most other people. You'd just better make sure you're prepared for what's coming.
