Earth Man

No, he doesn't actually have Earth powers. That's just the name of his planet.

Be not afraid of Earth Man's strange alien appearance, for though your ways are strange to him, he is here for your safety. Having long ago come millions of light years to your planet from his distant home planet of Earth, he is a champion of protection and justice.

Physical Description

To your human eyes, Earth Man may appear strange and even frightening. Like all of his kind, Earth Man is bepidal: He has two arms with five fingers on each hand, and two legs ending in five toes on each foot. He wears the colour green, which is a prominent colour on his planet because of the many trees and abundant plant life there. He wears a round symbol on his chest, a representation of the basic shape of his home planet, drawn as to the best of his memory, for he was a child when he left Earth.

History

At the tender age of 10 (which is very young in Earth years), Earth Man was instructed by his loving and scholarly father to flee, as destruction was upon them. His personal escape shuttle entered what one of Earth might call a "time rift" and ended up on the planet you call home. When his parents did not follow, Earth Man had alas soon discovered that his fair home had been destroyed. Not one to be cast down by adversity, Earth Man gathered what remnants of his past life he could and attempted to connect with humans such as yourself in the hopes of establishing a new family here on your planet.

Personality

While not quick to wit, Earth Man is brave and thoughtful. Your ways and your methods of communication are indeed strange to him but he relishes opportunities to learn about your unique human culture. It seems your planet has many kinds of creatures, including those protectors of innocents known as Super Heroes, who--it has come to Earth Man's attention--are not all human. Therefore, for the sake of correctness, he shall henceforth refrain from referring to your people as humans for he would not want to offend the fair beings of your planet with his unfortunate Earthly ignorance.

Earth man equips himself with an "axe" and "shield", ancient equipment typical of his alien culture. You might find these objects somewhat similar to other human implements which might be used for chopping or for protecting yourself from weapons forged of your human metals. His shield--the protective barrier behind which Earth Man strikes--bears the same symbol as on his chest.

Powers

Earth Man has the ability to "teleport", if you will, both himself and those he would call his friends by transplanting them from one point in space into another. Forgive such confusing terminology if it does not properly explain. While it is a concept much discussed on planet Earth, to you beings of this planet, it may be unobvious. The origin of this power is unknown to Earth Man as he is not familiar with other Earthlings who may have possessed the same ability.

In addition to his armaments, Earth Man possesses an unusual "visor" which allows him to see and experience your planet the way humans and other beings would. His eyes are adapted to the environment of the very dissimilar planet of Earth.

A "photograph" of typical Earthlings taken before the great disaster, though to your eyes their appearance may be strange and perhaps frightening.

Earth was a wondrous and diverse planet of many varying cultures and climates. Although it was rich in history, Earth Man has only the most basic knowledge of his people before planet Earth was destroyed nearly 10,000 years ago, in the future.
