Ein Dose, resident 'tech-head' of the Sky Pirates, was once a powrful villain of the Rogue Isles. Her induvidual parts were inspired by Doctor Who, Metroid, Mario, and a pre-CoX character of mine. Ein herself, however, was entirely original for CoH.

History

Ein appeared during christmas of 2005, in the middle of Arachnos' raid ofn the Ziggurat. Between then, and October of 2006, she caused an incredibly amount of chaos and destruction int the Rogue Isles and Paragon, taking down at least three Phalanx members, most of the Vindicators, and even Lord Recluse alone.

When her alternate, Bidon De A, appeared, she took it as little more than a nuisance. But when a bored violent supervillain sees a nuisance, they stop it in the grandest way possible. She didn't get far in that, in October of 2006 on a raid on a Longbow base she accidentally destroyed the base with a nuclear bomb, with her and her robots still inside. She died there, her body recovered by an ex-Sky Raider and supergroup colleague.

A month later, Ein Dose returned. Her old supergroup disbanded, her robots held together with duct-tape and beings of darkness, having possessed a Malta Operative, she came looking for redemption, first going to Bidon. She instead ran into her love, the Midnight Kestrel, who told her the best thing she could do for them is steer away and never bother them again. After agreeing to do so, she disappeared for several months.

She returned to the public eye some weeks later, redeeming her name in Bidon and Kestrel's eyes by saving Bidon twice over from being destroyed by the Praetorians. She later joined the Sky Pirates disguised as a Warshade - there is something drastically wrong with her Warshade, it seems far darker and more unstable than the usual, and ehr Nova form is pitch black with more tentacles, but otherwise there is nothing objectionable about her.

Personality

Slightly mad. Despite being a potent strategist, scientist and technician, her plans, methods and creation often leave one with at least a raised eyebrow. Despite this, she seems to perform every act she does for a selfless cause - almsot never doing anything for herself.

Personal Details

She is a video game junkie. While she has rarely played against others, when she has she has always won easily. She claims her favorite game to be Earthbound, with the fifth Final Fantasy game in second.

Although nobody has mentioned it to her face, and she is rarely heard, she is a remarkable singer.

Undisclosed/rarely known information

Ein once had possession of a time machine, thereby explaining her entry into the Ziggurat. She has left the machine inthe Zig, a place where 'nobody will find it'. So far, nobody has.

Her 'Warshade' is in reality her shadow beast henchmen, posing as a Warshade.

In a future that has been destroyed, Ein was empregnated. Seeing herself as a horrible mother, she bound her unborn child's soul to a child she knew would be raised well - Bidon and Kestrel's child, Jhannis De A. The Ein from that timeline is known to still exist temporally, and her daughter, Delila Dose, asserts herself over Jhannis occasionally.

Quotes

"Ein... Yeah, I remember her. Lotta robots and a smart mouth." - Midnight Kestrel

"Best anything ever, and anyone who argues is gonna get a faceful of incomprehendable form." - Ein Dose, on Giygas, final boss of Earthbound.

"She's totally nuts. In the good way, if that's possible." - Bidon De A

"In the present, Ein needs a hug." "Yeah, but nobody's gonna give it to her." - Unknown. Exchange was picked up on frequencies heard only in Firebase Zulu, Mercy Island, and one guy with a really good radio in Kansas.
