Etchogon
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
¡Mira! ¡El Etchogón, defensor magnifico de los inocentes, usando su -- Ay, I can't keep this up. Screw it. It gets old, you know? The, uh, the acting like you've got the entire city under control, the trying to fix every single problem, the never breaking character, never ever -- man, thought I'd last longer than I did.
The Ghost
Etchogon acquired a ghost (rather: a ghost acquired Etchogon) in a church outside Tijuana. Without any knowledge of why or how it infested him, he took up heroics; invisibility, fast running, and an modest increase in strength resulted in supreme neck-snapping abilities. He removed enough evidence of his birth name that very few know what it is, and he reacts indignantly when questioned about it.
Shortly after he reached Paragon City, the ghost finished devouring most of his body -- internal organs, bones, and skin were still intact, but muscle, fat, and circulatory systems were gone, leaving his heart pumping aimlessly as the Ghost picked up all the slack, replicating all bodily functions to such a degree that it's difficult to notice that there's nothing inside of him. He tries not to think about it, even as it removed his need and ability to sleep.
He currently resides in the base of the Silver Aegis, of which he is a member.
