Whipe in Progress
"We're sorry, it appears the information you're trying to access is unavailable!" The Executioner's history prior to his arrival to the Rogue Isles has been 'misplaced'. Not eliminated however. What is publicly known is his spotless record within Arachnos as far back as his original stationing to the Gutter Division, leading up to his anointment as 'THE Executioner of the Gutter', a title which he prides himself on to this day. Several years ago the Gutter Division was in shambles, barely able to organize let alone carry out the extermination ops ordered by high brass Grandville Arbiters, at least with any hope of quelling their high mortality rate. When Kage arrived, little was changed. While the Bane Corps advertises fearlessness in the face of all adversity, the reality of the matter is; What the hive can't see, the hive can't control.
Long story short, through radical perseverance and an old fashioned 'Follow me' attitude, The Gutter can be considered one of Arachnos' buried jewels today, long after the departure of Kage. After a rough ride thereafter with the radical Empyrean Mandate, he found himself in the presence more often than not of Mr. Fairfield, volunteering for assignments that are never kept on books, and without any outside contact for months to years at a time.
Lately, he's been neigh unheard of after a stint in eastern Europe, which saw the man who admits one of his only fears is heights, hijacked a high altitude-low orbit shuttle with less than a handful of others from an organization boasting four digit numbers of posted guards. In his usual fashion, the door was kicked down and after the hell died with it, he'd done the one thing he vowed never to do again...See four continents at once..
The Man Behind the Mask
Questioned often on why he chooses to remain in an assortment of on-duty apparel, he'll likely exclaim the true soldier is never off-duty. Really though he's grown self-conscious of the ocular implants over the years. Catching him out of the fray can yield a variety of results from observation of his personality. From well reserved docile bystander to outlandish brash jackass. The faces seemingly at his willful disposal varies more in combat. More often than not the one everyone see's is the silent, cool & calm architect of destruction, roaring motorized mace in right hand and trusty sidearm in left. The state of his psyche can be questioned, given the constant loss of comrades since his teenage years, long periods of solo operations, and all around ghastly day-to-day living conditions, seeking any proof will yield noteworthy difficulty off the field, difficulty that increases as you follow him onto the field. It's anyone's guess whether it is by choice or otherwise but he seems to have found synergy in conflict.
Abilities
Military Service; it was forced upon him at the ripe age of 17, and he's had the attributes and curses that come with it chained to his leg like a lead ball ever since. In truth, he doesn't possess any supernatural powers or abilities. Simply put, this man has been around the block one too many times. Peak Human Condition, gym nut, whatever you want to call it. He doesn't care, and thinks you shouldn't either, unless of course you happen to have a paying job utilizing his experience.
The years have treated his leadership persona well, particularly following his entrance into Arachnos. Coupled with an innate ability to stealthily insert himself wherever Phoenix or the Mandate needed him, and therein lighting off a fireworks show unlike the world has ever seen, he's able to fit the bill for neigh any conflict oriented job he's thrown. Just don't ask him to train greenhorns, unless you have a bountiful pool to grab new ones from..
Affiliates
"Any alliance whose purpose is not the intention to wage war is senseless and useless.".... The Executioner's view on 'Affiliates'
-Phoenix Company; his nonexistent home. Though he really only knows one man here, he'd gladly give his life for any one of the individuals whom call its employment their own, banking on the likely hood that his life will be in any one of their hands sooner or later.
-Empyrean Mandate; Dissolved as far as anyone who remembers it is concerned, still were anyone to question the topic he'd claim no part in it's fate these days, with a wry grin. Though given whom they're speaking too whether or not the answer is credible, is entirely unknown.
-Wraith Spiders; Outside of his Division, these men and women carved a bloody comfortable nest in his heart, and anchored themselves deep in the conscious he calls his own today.
Enemies
"Either you stand with me; against me, or I have not yet turned in your direction..." - Kage
His enemies are many. While holding a -near- spotless record, what can be dug up are countless encounters between himself, kheldians, and the undead; kindred. More often than not started by his hand. These, while ignorable each individually, piled up to unimaginable influence after years of service, and is probably the entire reason he's not currently active with Arachnos today.
