Felterran
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
((Work in progress! Bear with me! The first edit is only phase one.))
Felterran; literally Felterranian for "Dark Planet". This world an alternate dimension where people thrive off of magic, rather than technology. Very diverse in religion, lifeforms, terrain and culture, Felterran is much unlike our Earth.

Gods
There are two widely-recognized types of greater powers in Felterran - Gods and Goddesses. The gods and goddesses maintain much of the responsibilites around the world, and although they can usually be classified as good, evil, or in-between, these deities are all worshipped, all over the multiverse. However, there is a third rumored to exist: Elderforms. Elderforms are said to be shapeless masses equal in size to extremely large planets. They speak in one language, an ancient and long-dead tongue with no name. Supposedly, the few that understand it go insane due to the power of the magic the language consists of, and that the world's most powerful mages are only so powerful because they merely dabble in the tongue. Only one Elderform has actually ever been seen in person, but the account is unreliable; the Rogue Elderform known as Ouros revealed its existance to a high prophet of Chronus, the god of time, and he was said to have been blinded by the sight and reduced to a babbling fool. The prophet continued to worsen in condition, only to die thirteen days later of inexplicable causes seemingly unrelated to his condition. Other eye-witness accounts are only derived from the Chosen, the Elderform's personal avatars for when they make a rare visit to the Realm of Light.
There are five categories that most of the gods and goddesses fit into, as well as known documentations of the Elderforms (or rather, their Chosen).
The New Dawn Pantheon (Exalted Deities)
After Kaohs destroyed one of the Realm of Light's twin suns and blocked the other with the Snow Moon (a moon made completely of ice), intending to melt the moon, the then-seperated deities aligned as the New Dawn Pantheon. ((Coming soon.))
Speakers of the Swaying Tide (Neutral Deities)
Neutral deities, the Speakers formed to keep balance and peace between the exalted and vile deities after the Godscar Wars. ((Coming soon.))
The Darkspawned Threat (Vile Deities)
The Darkspawned Threat is a collective of likeminded deities. Begrudgingly allied with one cause, and one cause only in mind: darkness over Felterran. How they intend to achieve this is kept secret amongst these deities.
Blackheart
Blackheart is a dark god of horror and insanity. All creatures that bring fear do so in Blackheart's name. To enter his home realm is to willingly submit one's self to madness, for all that lie within that domain are sights that would drive even a Paladin to a slow destruction of the mind, and then the body. {Statistics}
[Avatar]: Approximately the size of a three-story home, this sphere-shaped mass of tentacles ending in scythes and claws with a pair of glowing red eyes in the center of the mass is terrifying to behold. Its supernatural qualities only help aid in its horror. Whoever looks into its eye will see their greatest fear, and then be consumed by it should the avatar so desire.
[Domains]: Fear, deception, trickery, madness, torment
[Followers]: Fearmongers, evil politicians, sentient monsters, devils (and some demons)
Kaohs
Kaohs is, phonetically, an aptly-named god of chaos and destruction. What Blackheart lacks in brute force, Kaohs makes up for in raw power and a desire for carnage and suffering. He wouldn't be so evil if only he controlled what he did. {Statistics}
[Avatar]: A detached, hovering suit of magnificent, but twisted and evil armor with glowing eyes. A gigantic, wicked two-handed sword as tall as he is that he manages to wield with one hand.
[Domains]: Carnage, chaos, destruction, anger, hate
[Followers]: Warriors, warmongers, barbarians

Elderforms (Ancient or Timeless Deities)

Rogue Deities
Rogue deities are gods and goddesses that do not belong to any specific category but their own. Generally, they are hunted by at least one band of deities. There is one known rogue Elderform, Ouros.
Ouros
Ouros is an Elderform - its domains include time and space. It is rumored that Ouros is so ancient, so powerful, that the other Elderforms - out of fear that it would ruin the entire multiverse of Felterran - banded together to seal it away. When Ouros was away from the Pillar of Ouros, its home plane, the other Elderforms set a trap. Though the exact details are unknown, it is said that they trapped Ouros in a void of 'reverse time', to drain it of its powers and strip it of its domains. But a deity cannot exist without a domain. In a last-ditch attempt to save itself, Ouros split off a 'seed' of itself, called Continuum, and planted it in the past. Now, as Ouros lies caged, thought dead, Continuum grows in power far in the past - unknown to the young deities of Continuum's time. Betrayed, Ouros seeks to extract vengeance. In due time, perhaps vengeance will be what he gets. {Statistics}

Dead Deities
Maroht
Maroht was a goddess of death, decay, and the undead. When Maroth attempted to directly interfere with politics in the Realm of Light for her own gain, through stirring an army of the undead and their followers (twisted humans and the likes), Maroht was slain by her fellow deities in the Darkspawned Threat, and then erased from existance by Arranoth, god of time. {Statistics}
[Avatar]: A beautiful, but pale female covered in blood and donning only a shredded black dress and a cloth mask
[Domains]: Death
[Followers]: Liches, other sentient undead, worshippers of the dead
