Flagsman
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
The Flagsman is a hero I designed as a sort of answer to a lack of 'dark' heroes - He's a rather controversial crime fighter, as he causes tons of collateral and property damage, as well as injury to criminal and civilian alike. I hope people will enjoy playing with him as much as I do playing him!

Friends
He's working on that. So far, he's got one person he would rely on as a friend...
- Philanthropy: In spite of their particularly clashing personalities and mindsets, Flags and 'Dr. Phila' (as he so "lovingly" nicknamed her) don't seem like they should get along. Nor, at times, do they - especially amidst crime fighting scenarios. With Phila's humanitarian idealogies and Flags' idealogy of "it's like an arcade game; the more collateral damage you cause, the more points you score!", it's hard to believe they can even stand eachother at all. But somehow, Phila has managed to avoid snapping and killing Flags.
Enemies
He hasn't pissed off anyone in particular.
Physical
Appearance
Standing at an even six feet tall and weighing in at a bit over two hundred pounds, Alexander's raw strength and (rather unseen) discipline are clearly visible at first glance of his body. Fit and well-muscled, there isn't an ounce of fat on him, though he's far from the point of being overly-muscular. While he definitely isn't the most beautiful person around, he is ruggedly handsome, in a way... though good looks ARE in the eye of the beholder.
Personality
WIP
Powers
Alex, being infused with magic power, has become immortal. Alex's only super powers aside from super strength and being impervious to most forms of attack include: heightened hearing and vision, and increased travel speed.
Shield Defense
Alex's magically-enchanted shield, Leonidas, is a replica of the Spartan shields of the Greek era. It is painted over with American flag-style stripes, black and white, with a single star for decor. He must manually maneuver his shield to block incoming attacks, but it has a magical force field that covers whatever the physical aspect of the shield can't block, as long as it is held in the proper direction. The barrier is not impenetrable, however, and does not deflect all attacks.
Super Strength
Alex tends to be a rather reckless fighter, but he makes up for it with raw, unadultered strength. His Super Strength allows him to break anything from bones, to walls, to even denting Impervium plating. He's working on being able to outright break it.
Travel
Alex has a rather unusual method of travel: shield riding. He hoists his shield up, tosses it into the air, and rides it just above the ground at breakneck speeds.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Sonic Attacks
Sound-based attacks are able to damage Alex's ears and cause him pain, to the point that they will stun him if loud enough.
Bright Lights
Overly bright lights can damage Alex's sensitive eyes temporarily, causing him pain and possibly stunning him.
Psionic Attacks
While Alex is resistant to psionic intrusion, he isn't as resistant to psychic attacks.
Equipment
- Highforge Helm: The Highforge Helm is a Greek-era helm made of a similar composition of his shield, Leonidas. It heightens his senses, narrows his vision, and protects him from head injuries from things like rockets and mac trucks.
- Leonidas (Shield): Leonidas is a modified shield from the times of Greece and Sparta. It is said to be unbreakable, made of some enchanted alloy more befitting gods than men.
- Self-Mending Spandex Suit: Not only is the material of his spandex suit incredibly tough, once torn, shredding or otherwise damaged, it mends itself over time.

Trivia, Rumors and Miscellaneous
Trivia
[WIP]
- Alex can play the guitar extremely well, with a unique and intricate style. His preferred model is the Ibanez ART300.
- Although Alex is immortal, he can die - though he hasn't died yet, it is believed that the magic in his blood will resurrect him.
- It is rumored that Alex has the strength of a legendary Greek (perhaps Spartan) warrior empowering him, but the validity to this rumor is questionable.
