Personality
Casually speaking, Linda is a bit of a shy girl, and that is not surprising considering what she has had to deal with in life. Her shy attitude actually helps benefit her inside Arachnos, the organization likes its members to be reclusive an unpronounced to impulsive behavior. She is also a very dependent young woman. She joined Arachnos in order to gain protection and draw strength that she could not on her own.
Character History
Blessing
When Linda was born, the doctor who delivered her said that she was the most beautiful baby he had ever seen. Her arms and legs were all well proportional to the rest of her body, her head was supported well by her perfect shoulders, and her weight was just right for her tiny body. By the time she was a toddler she had a full head of lovely golden locks with soft pouting lips and eyes a bright as the stars. Her mother adored her with all her heart, her father would die for her. Her beauty would grow as she did.
Curse
When Linda entered the second grade, the boys in her school began drawing to her, some even followed her. Linda developed a fear of boy, and she would hide behind other girls her age when they came to her. The boy problem only got worse as grade school continued. They were enthralled by her beauty, they could not get enough of her. The boys began developing sexual feelings, long before their young bodies would allow them to. The harassment became so bad that her mother pulled her from her public school and placed her in a all girl school when she entered junior high, but the problem would not end there.
The Mask
Inside her all girl school, Lina was relatively safe, although there were a few girls there that were as bad as the boys were. Outside the school, men and boys would follow her, asking her questions about herself. She soon discovered that if she hid her face, males would not bother her. On her way home from school, she would wear a paper mask as she walked. Lina hated wearing the mask people would stare at her. Mostly she stayed at home where she knew she was safe.
No Place to Go
At the age of 18, Linda was truly beautiful. Her legs were long and slider, like two pillar in a Greek temple. Her arms like the branches of a great white oak. She had a little pot belly and a navel like a tea cup. Her shoulders were square and placed back against her body, causing her supple breasts to stand out. Her neck was like a swan's and her skin like porcelain. Her lovely face was framed by cascades of blond hair. No man could resist her. One night at home, while she was reading a book. Lina's father jumped on her, trying to rip her clothes off. Her mother ran to her and tried to pull her husband off their daughter. He threw her to the floor still pining Linda down. Her mother grabbed a table lamp and bashed it over his head. He fell to the floor unconscious. Lina and her mother fled the house together.
Spider's Web
After the rape attempt, Linda and her mother tried to get as far away from their home as possible, hoping to start over again in a place where Lina would be safe. The two women were siting in a Rode Island airport terminal, when Lina, wearing her mask, saw a recruitment poster for Arachnos on the wall. The organization offered exactly what Lina was looking for, a new life with protection. The mother and daughter became interested, their curiosity would take the to the Rouge Isles and to Spider City itself. As Linda and her mother stood in line to enter the city, an arbiter came up to her and commanded her to remove her mask. She refused. The arbiter forced in off her face, when he saw her grabbed her around the waist, trying to abduct her. Her mother screamed, which was heard by a night widow standing on a platform above them. The widow subdued the crazed arbiter and ordered she be taken into the city. It was the last time Linda ever saw her mother.
Orgin
Lina was given to the fortunatas, the widow who had stopped the arbiter believed Lina was ill. though their psychic power, the fortunatas made a surprising discovery. Lina was in fact inherently psychic. The reason why men went wild with lust when they saw her face, was because of hypnosis that emanated from Linda's face unknown to her. the fortunatas concluded that the hypnosis was caused by Lina surpassing her actual will to be desired by men. Her mind was simply trying to fulfill something that she was denying. They instantly saw the potential that her power could have for Arachnos, if it could be controlled.
Training
The path leading to Linda unlocking her psychic power stared with removing the negative aspects of her personality. The fortunatas archived this by a combination of personal one-on-one therapy and mind control. Lina learned to let go of her personal fears but was allowed to keep her reclusive attitude as well as her need for security, they would keep her loyal to Arachnos. Her psychic training began with her trying to predict flash cards before they came up. After that she was asked to draw an object in another room exactly. After six months of basic exercises, her instructors made her read the minds of people Arachnos had kidnapped and then try an manipulate their thoughts. After another six months, she had stepped up to learning mind attacks. Her training however never got rid of the rouge hypnosis that he face caused. In the end it didn't matter, her face would be covered by a helmet eventually.
Eros is Love
At the time of Linda's graduate to fortunata, her seniors gave her a new name. She would be called Fortunata Eros, after the Greek God of love. They explained that they had given her the name as a reminder of the false love that had brought her to them and the new love she would have for Lord Recluse.
Powers
Eros was born with psychic power, but she only learned to control and master them with help from Arachnos's fortunata's. Her power is now limited only by the will of her mind.
Fortunata Training
Mental Blast: By focusing her mind's energy on a single object, Eros can hurl the energy at the object and cause minor damage to it.
Telekinetic Blast: This mind attack allows Eros to smash and throw her enemies.
Subdue: Using this attack, Eros can shutdown the brains of enemies at stop them in there tracks.
