Personality

Liberty is a very intelligent woman, she got good grades in High School and College, she is able to assess the current situation very quickly and produce an acceptable solution to any problem. She is sometimes very shy, especially around people she is intimidated by, or whom she knows to have a crush on her, but usually she is very outgoing, fun and bubbly, and is at most if not all times the life of the party. She has a great attraction to fashion, art and music and obsesses over them at all times, even asking people for free influence so that she may make a trip to her favourite tailor, "icon", and buy a truckload of the newest fashions.

Liberty is also extremely defensive and catty, and LOVES to argue with people. She is usually fantastic at making excellent and insulting comebacks at people who irritate her and easily makes people hate her if she wants to. Sometimes she makes them hate her even without arguing with her! Contrary to this however, Liberty can be very caring and kind and is very loving to people who respect her and make her laugh. If she is having an argument with someone and feels it's going too far she will instantly steer the conversation to make the other person feel better or more welcome. For example if she plainly insulted someone's costume by saying "ew, creepy..." she could later say, "I wasn't insulting you, it was merely a comment about the style of your costume. I'm actually surprised you took offense to that, sorry!"

All in all, Liberty is a very caring person who is open to excitement and fun and is always willing to make friends with anyone!

Powers

Energy Blast/Energy Manipulation*

Liberty's powers manifested themselves in her late teens, coming to fruition through Liberty's anger and frustation.Over time they have become more and more controllable and manageable and Liberty is now entirely stable, a massive contrast to the girl who once blew up her entire school. Liberty is able to heat the air or matter around herself or anywhere for that matter and turn it into pure energy. She mainly uses this power to create large energy blasts that can cut through almost anything, create expanding force fields that topple objects in the way and possibly destroy or kill them. She is also able to manipulate energy that has already been created due to an external force or otherwise, and use it against her foes or for her own benefit. For example, Liberty is able to manipulate the energy inside herself and force it to make her stronger, fitter, faster, anything she wants.

With the addition of Enforcer Gloves or Energetic Restrainers, Liberty is able to control her powers even further. The Restrainers are able to hold back the complete mirth of the force of the energy blasts and focus them in straight directions rather than splaying out in all directions.

Liberty connects with the restrainers telepathically meaning they are under her complete control. This way she is able to control her powers much easily, for instance instead of always blasting in one direction they can instead build up the energy around the hands and execute a powerful energy punch.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Liberty's primary weakness is her readiness to lash out at anyone who insults her in some way. this can make her very vulnerable in specific situations and make her reckless in her decisions and can also make her lose control of her temper which in turn, takes away her control of her powers.

Liberty's strength lies primarily in her anger. Though contrary to her weakness, her anger can sometimes get her out of very sticky situations that would otherwise lead to her, or someone else's demise.

Early Life

Liberty was born on the 6th of March, 1986, in King's Row Hospital to Margaret Gustofson, a Fashion Designer at "icon". She was baptised into Roman Catholicism at age 1. As a toddler, Liberty was very adventurous and ( much to the dismay of her mother ) casually walked out onto the streets of King's Row, which, back then, was a lively and thriving City of wonder and awe. Liberty began to show signs of abnormality at the age of 4, when she threw a tantrum and melted the TV. Luckily, Liberty's mother was a telepath and was able to block out the powers and stop them from manifesting until Liberty became much more mature. This however set in turn the events which would later kill over one thousand people.

Liberty attended a Primary school known as St. Michaels Catholic School where she actually first started to socialise with other children of her age. The other children were generally accepting of her and she soon became very popular as she grew older and grew near her teenaged years. But things began to change as she reached High School age.

Teenage Years

First Year

Liberty attended Sacred Heart College ( another catholic school ) in King's Row and it was there where she began to lose self esteem. In her first year she was generally welcomed by everyone and she felt rather comfortable. However as the year progressed Liberty started to hate one of her teachers, her English teacher in fact, whom she felt was a know-it-all, rude, insolent and incredibly offensive to her. After her mother lost her job which was purely the fault of one of her assistants, Liberty started to get teased by many of her classmates as being poor and living in the slums. Though most of it was true, she and her mother were losing money, her mother couldn't get another job as a fashion designer so instead got a job in the Hollows monitoring the construction of various buildings and renovations of existing ones, which wasn't exactly well-paid, and they did have to move to a cheaper house just outside of King's Row. Naturally, the subject would be quite sensitive to someone who is actually living in that situation so it is an understatement to say that Liberty was feeling a bit betrayed.

Second year

In her second year, Liberty's hate for her English teacher grew and grew as she had to put up with him for a second year in a row, which is more than needed if you knew him. Liberty became extremely bitter towards her peers, refusing to work with anyone but herself or her old friend from St. Michael's, Michelle Davis, and insensitively refusing a date offer by her one-time love, irish hottie, James O' Halloran. And only to add to the psychological abuse Liberty was enduring, but the rest of the school started to bully her, including seemingly mature seniors and ridiculously disrespectful third formers. She was subject to torment by verbal abuse like name-calling etc., and even physical abuse. There was one boy in particular who loved to beat her up, a one Tasman Cochrane. In one instance, the class was playing one of her least favourite sports, American Football, and because she didn't want to join in and play, Liberty was ganged up on by her "team-mates", who said things like, "Why can't you just play the game it's not about you there's no 'I' in team!" and, "God, why do you have to be so annoying just play the damn game! It's not about you!". Liberty felt the pressure of them as they closed in around her and shouted in her face and she felt ready to burst, but what really tipped her was the ridiculously idiotic thing Tasman did. He tackled her. She managed to pull herself to her feet, her ankle twisted, and punch him square in the face, breaking his nose and fracturing his cheek bone. That may seem pretty bad what these kids were doing to her but it was what some people in particular didn't do that was really incredibly irritating. Remember that English teacher? Well he was also the dean for Liberty's year level. So when she went to him to report what had happened he just shrugged her off, not caring about her twisted ankle at all, and instead took care of Tasman who "clearly has the worst injuries!".

Last years

Three years went by and the bullying generally thinned out as the younger population had no interest in one lonely senior who was bitter to everyone especially her teachers, excepting her Religious Ed. teachers and Japanese teacher. However the turning point for Liberty was the last day of her High School jail sentence, Graduation Day. The bullying had turned into almost all out conflict at the recess of that day. Over twenty of her classmates had cornered her while she had been eating her lunch and they started throwing insults and various foodstuffs at her. Then the worst started. Some of the throng began to attack Liberty physically, stealing her clothes (jacket, jersey, shoes and socks to be exact), punching kicking and spitting at her, then one person made the worst mistake of his life. Tasman decided he would get revenge on Liberty by hitting her on the back of the head. What he didn't know is that that particular punch unlocked Liberty's powers...

" "OUCH! Stop it," cried Liberty as she lay crumpled on the ground, her hands held to the back of her head where Tasman had caught her, "Why are you doing this to me...why.."

Tasman stood before the crowd of tormentors, a large grin on his face, his sign of satisfying victory. After standing there for a moment basking in the glory of finally getting his revenge on the one person he most hated in the world, he signalled one of his fellow attackers, who bent down and picked Liberty up off the ground and threw her into the icy brick wall.

"Because, you are a snotty little b**** who will never talk to anyone, always acts like a freak, and is just frickin' annoying." murmured Tasman, loud enough for only Liberty to hear, "We don't like you! Just go back to your filthy dump of a home and crawl into your moth-eaten toilet paper bed and die!"

Tasman proceeded to kick Liberty in the shin, making her fall to the ground once more. Billions of thoughts raced through Liberty's mind, her brain thumping at the cavity of her skull, screaming to be let out. Why can't they just leave me be? she asked herself. Why can they not just go on with their lives and leave me out of it? Her headache pounded her head over and over again like a drummer on a huge drum, slowly, but hard and firm. Liberty opened her eyes and turned her gaze to one in the crowd... James was there, staring at her with wide eyeballs and one of his friend's arms over his shoulders who was egging Tasman on, like the rest of them...

What is James doing here... He's meant to be one of the people who really don't mind my presence... so why is he here?

All of these and many more questions built up inside Liberty, by then the crowd had stopped chanting and screaming and Tasman stood there looking at her with a worried look on his face... He grabbed a stick and began to prod her... over and over... she heard something... but wasn't sure of what it was...they couldn't think...think she's dead....... Liberty's eyes glazed over and her world turned black...

She was suddenly awake. Her eyes wide open and burning with anger and fear. Liberty stood up and looked at the scene, it didn't seem like much time had passed, nothing had changed. Liberty's gaze then focused on Tasman and his eyes widened to the size of golfballs as the air surrounding Liberty began to heat up and scintillate. The crowd of attackers inched back when they realised something had gone wrong. Liberty, her gaze still focused on Tasman, slowly opened her mouth wide and let loose a piercing screech, her chest heaving up and down. The sound was enough to curdle blood. The crowd all began to back away faster this time as Liberty's body began to glow white hot, the air heating up with her. Tasman yelled something as everyone began to run away in fear. Her anger growing, Liberty started to stride forwards, heading for the centre of the school. It wasn't far away. A great deal of onlookers began to assemble as Liberty, glowing like a star, stood in the middle of the square. Five minutes passed and finally the whole schol was there, including all of the teachers and visitors who were there for the preparation of the Graduation Ceremony. The ground below Liberty started to melt and turn molten, slowing spidering across the ground, inching it's way outwards. Liberty spotted the despised English teacher and her fury mounted as her whole powers were released. The entire crowd was blinded before killed by the heat, the light was so bright and hot it was non-withstandable. The air cracked as the pure energy ripped through the matter in less than a second and the buildings and trees were incinerated instantly. the ground split and crumbled, was thrown into the air and destroyed by the blast. Then there was a sudden BOOM and crash as Liberty released all the years of torment, abuse and loneliness in the final explosion equal to the size of 100 tons of dynamite.

Liberty had liberated herself. "

Pocket A1

The explosion had been all over the news, publicising that a faulty heating system that overloaded and ignited all the gas pipes caused the gargantuan explosion. For three weeks Liberty sat underground beneath the rubble of the school. She stayed alive by feeding off of the energy being generated above her by all of the people walking around the remnants of the school, investigating, paying their respects, helping to clear away the debris, looking fr survivors. On the 22nd day of her imprisonment, firemen were able to dig her out of her little pocket of air and pull her to safety. You may think her name was sprawled all over the news then, but the media had a paparazzi orgasm when Liberty disappeared from her hospital ward when three men in black arrived to see her.

Liberty was taken by the men in black and pushed into the back of a truck, wihch took her to an underground facility. While there, Liberty met a man named Professor Beni Opus, a kind and gentle man who helped Liberty to control her powers. Prof. Opus was actually a good friend of Liberty's mother's and Liberty reunited with her mother once more in the facility which Opus had revealed was another dimension known as "Pocket A1". For 2 years Liberty stayed here with her mother and Opus and learned to control her powers.

Over those years Liberty suffered from the conviction about what she had done but her mother explained that it wasn't her fault what happened, she explained that she had set up temporary telepathic blocks in her mind to keep her powers from being noticed by her classmates... she was different enough already. Liberty's mother explained that when Liberty had been hit over the head, the blocks crumbled and disappeared and the powers surged out of their former prison and channeled themselves through Liberty's anger and fear and hatred.

During her training in Pocket A1, Liberty was gifted A pair of Enforcer Gloves enhanced to control and repress Liberty's powers telepathically. These helped Liberty gain more and more onfidence in herself and though she is quite shy at this little impedement it doesn't stop her from being the bubbliest person in Atlas Park (at times haha)

Heroing

Liberty is now enjoying her new life as super hero Freedom Faith and as she grows in power she grows more in confidence. She now spends most of her time at Architect Entertainment prancing around the Virtual Training Sessions like a crazy frog. Now, only time will tell if Liberty has what it takes to be a true hero.

Likes

Liberty is very interested in the outside world and typically tends to venture out there at times, using her friend's teleportation ability she sneaks out of the old Rikti Walls and hitches rides to other American cities like New York and Los Angeles.

During one of her trips to New York she found out about one individual, Lady GaGa, singer songwriter. She fell in lve with Lady GaGa's songs instantly and now can be seen (or heard) listening to her on her PSP she keeps in her right hand Enforcer Glove.

Her favourite song is Quicksand which is actually sung by another artist, Britney Spears, but it was written by Lady GaGa so she listens to it too. Her current theme song at the moment is Pokerface by Lady GaGa, a perfect representation of her look on life and her past. These days she generally doesn't talk about the incident at King's Row so whenever people ask about it she usually puts on her "pokerface" to hide her secret. This song also refelects on one side of her personality being very strange and unusual and heart racingly sexual.
