Ashley Fox is as savage and brutal as the animals whose traits she was forced to inherit. Currently she takes on jobs given to her by her big sister out of Port Oakes. She harbors a strong hatred for Arachnos for what they did to her, and plans to one day make Recluse himself pay for it.

Biography
Mad Science
Arachnos called it Project: Chimera. The principle was relatively simple, it was just another super soldier program, although this one revolved around genetically combining the traits of animals with Human DNA. A human being with the strength of an ox, the toughness of a rhino, the agility of a tiger, and the acute senses of a wolf. There were many other animals that would be combined into the genetic cocktail as well, but the main tenets were nothing new. The only difference this time around is that the Arachnos scientists decided to use infants as their subjects in hopes that they would better take to the changes as they aged. Lord Recluse has never been credited with an abundance of conscience, so it is little surprise he approved of this plan on the condition that they produce good results. Recluse has never tolerated failure, it's one of the reasons he still reigns over the Rogue Isles.
The Arachnos scientists needed a group of at least twenty children in order to began their experiments, but there's not a large number of children running around the Rogue Isles these days so they began to look elsewhere. That's how little Ashley Fox came to be involved in this project.
Little Girl Lost
On a dark winter eve in Paragon City a very pregnant young woman was rushing down the street trying to escape from a gang of Hellions who were chasing her. She screamed as she ran and it attracted the attention of one of the nearby heroes. The hero attacked the group of Hellions, but a stray bullet hit the young woman. The nameless hero rushed her to the hospital but it was too late.
Ashley's mother died on the same operating table where she was born. Her father was anyone's guess, so she ended up as a ward of the state. She was being transported with various other infants to one of the state orphanages when Arachnos attacked. They killed the few adults that were along to take care of the children and then took all the children with them back to the Rogue Isles, where the scientists of Project: Chimera immediately began to put them through their experiments.
Ashley was dubbed PCS-13 and the genetic experimentation began when she was still only 6 months old. The testing and modifications went on for the next ten years. Each different gene added to the cocktail that they were forcing on the children resulted in different effects. Some took to the treatment better than others, but Ashley was in a league of her own. Every time they added another attribute to her unique genetic makeup her body seemed to adopt all the greatest qualities inherent in it while instinctively throwing out the negative. Unfortunately after ten years of testing and still not truly providing a worthy subject, short of Ashley, Recluse was becoming very impatient with the project. He ordered them to provide him with a perfected soldier within the year or they would suffer for failing him. This caused the scientists to speed up work with Ashley.
Overload
At first Ashley's body did what it always had, adopting genetic patterns for their strengths only. They decided to start doing weekly infusions of genetic material to speed up her progress. This proved to be too much for the, now eleven year old, girl's body to handle. After the fourth week of this her body shutdown, and not even her newly acquired regenerative abilities seemed to be able to bring her back. Panicked at the loss of their strongest test subject the scientists disposed of her by dropping her body out at sea.
Unfortunately for them Recluse had finally had enough with the project and ordered it shutdown, and everything associated with it to be liquidated. Within a week all that remained of Project: Chimera was the body of a little girl at the bottom of the sea just outside Port Oakes.
Not all of the genetic data used for Ashley's treatment had been land animals. Many sea creatures' genetic data were added in as well. This particular part of her treatments had gifted Asheley with the ability to survive underwater indefinitely, which made it the prime place for her body to regenerate from the overload of genetic testing forced on her by the Arachnos scientists. It took about a month but the little girl, now twelve years old, finally awakened at the bottom of the ocean. Anyone else would have panicked but she shared her instincts with those of all the animals with which she had been combined. She was still very weak though, so in the course of slowly swimming to shore her body shut down again.
She was close enough now, though, that she washed up on a small beach in Port Oakes right next to an old shack where a woman was standing reading a newspaper.
A New Life
Jennifer Franchetti was down on her luck. She had been working the area around Port Oakes for awhile as an information broker, but with Drea and Mikey in town now it was getting hard for her to peddle information around Port Oakes. That was until Ashley Fox washed up on the beach. She took Ashley in and helped her recuperate, which with her regenerative abilities took very little time. Ashley wasn't very receptive at first but in her weakened condition she was forced to accept her help.
Over the course of her month long recovery Ashley and Jennifer bonded. Ashley, having never known anyone else besides the scientists and other test subjects, was desperate for someone to cling to. Jennifer saw Ashley as the little sister she never had. Once Ashley was fully recovered she decided to help Jennifer with her problems in Port Oakes by doing some of the jobs that Jennifer had been having trouble giving to the various villains around Port Oakes. Ashley was able to use her outstanding tracking abilities to silence quite a few people for her employers. Even when the targets turned out to be supers themselves Ashley rarely had problems dealing with them. Sometime along the way Ashley came across various pieces of information regarding Arachnos' involvement in Project: Chimera and vowed her revenge on them for their treatment of her during her childhood.
Currently Ashley Fox, now dubbed Fury Fox by the newspapers after a few particularly bloody jobs, is working her way up the chain in the Isles in hopes to get close enough to Recluse to exact her revenge.
Personality
Aside from her feelings with regard to Jennifer Franchetti, Ashley is far more at home amongst animals then people. She has almost no regard for human life and once in battle has a tendency to let her instincts take over. This has resulted in quite a few bloody encounters between her and local law enforcement.
Ashley doesn't talk much, mostly because she was never taught language and has only been able to pick parts of it up from Jennifer and what little she picked up from the scientists at Project: Chimera. She is able to communicate well enough though via bursts of speech generally comingled with growls.
Ashley is still only a sixteen year old girl and one that has never really had an upbringing of any kind. Most of the time she relies on her animal instincts due to this.
Powers and Abilities
Ashley has a slew of powers that were inherited from the genetic cocktail that was used on her by Project: Chimera. To begin she has massively enhanced strength. As her body adopted the strengths of each of the animals she was combined with the one constant was that her strength was increased everytime, almost as if the animal's strength was directly added to her own every time she was subjected to new genetic material.
She is also extremely resistant to most standard forms of damage. She has the ability to regenerate almost any wound and she does it relatively quickly as well. Her agility and reflexes are vastly increased over a normal person's which makes her a very hard target to hit. Also all five of her senses were drastically enhanced. She can see clearly for over a mile, hear a pin drop on a different floor, and her sense of smell is so refined that she can not only track by scent but can also determine a person's emotional state from changes in scent alone. She can also breathe underwater as a result of the underwater animals that were used in the tests.
Finally, Ashley has exhibited a form of empathic link with the animal kingdom. She understands animals and is able to use this ability to endear herself to them and in return they will generally help her with whatever she needs.
