Growing up in Mozambique's capital city of Maputo shortly after the end of the civil war, Elle was privy to the wealth and fortune that her father, a self made mogul, provided for his family. Her life, up until moving to the United States, was mainly constituted by watching the world around her change drastically on a day to day basis. As such, she is incredibly adaptable and endlessly patient, two traits which were hard earned through her childhood.

Recently, she reunited with her childhood friend Travis and has allied herself with the superhero group known as the Grey Watch.
