Character History
Marcus Edmund Stratos was born May 1, 1926 on a cattle ranch in Blackhawk, Monatana to Eugene and Mildred Stratos. Marcus was the younger of the two Stratos children, 5 years younger than his brother Sam. The boys and their father worked with the herds through the afternoon and, seeing as there was no school anywhere near the remote farm, their mother took care of their education in the evenings. The hard work kept the two boys in peak physical condition and, even though Sam was the older brother, Marcus was always tall for his age and the two were often mistaken for twins.
Sam Goes to War
In 1939, when war was beginning to break out in Europe, Sam expressed a desire to join the Army to help. Eugene, a veteran of the original World War, refused Sam's pleas, saying he would never allow any son of his to go through the horrors he had to during his service. After a heated arguement beween him and his father, Sam walked out and joined on his own accord. Eugene and his eldest son never spoke again.
Marcus Follows in his Brothers Footsteps
Ever idolizing his older brother, two years later Marcus too proclaimed that he wanted to enlist. Eugene and Marcus got into an arguement that ended with his father hitting him. That same night, Marcus too what little savings he had and ran away to the Air Corps recruitment office in Kansas. Duing his enlistment, Marcus lied about his age, telling the recruiter his was 18. Due to being tall for his age and having a strong build from farm work, no one dispuited this claim. Marcus signed up and was shipped off to Randolph Air force Base in San San Antonio.

Powers
The General has no natural powers beyond Near-superhuman eyesight and incredible balance. All his powers come from the suit of armor he wears.
Combat
The General uses a pair of metal guantlets that allow him to direct electrical charges. The guantlets are steel with a copper shell and are connected with wires that run through the armor to several battery packs on his bandolier and belt. By clenching his fists or flattening his palms, he can control the amount of current passing through the gloves. This allows for a completely harmless tingle on contact with the guantlet to near fatal electrocution. An internal rubber lining keeps the General from getting shocked himself.
