Geodynamic is a superheroine based out of Paragon City. Possessing the ability to control earth and geothermal energy, she carries on her father name and legacy; fighting crime and protecting the innocent.

History
Before her birth
Before Delilah Stone was born, her father Nathan was a geologist working for a major energy research company; looking for new sources of energy. His search would eventually lead him deep into the earth's crust and to his discovery of the subterranean people known as the Terranians. He befriended these people and eventually came to discover one of their greatest secrets; a glowing crystal called the Geodyne. When Nathan touched the crystal, his mind was awakened to the very voice of the world itself. The Earth told Nathan of it's existence and of it's fear that unless mankind learns to live in peace with the earth, both would cease to exist. It asked Nathan to return to the surface and become it's champion; imbuing him with mastery over the earth itself.
Nathan agreed to the Earth's request and returned to the world as the hero known as Geodynamic. As Geodynamic, Nathan Stone did battle with those forces seeking to exploit the world's resources for their own profit; as well as those who would endanger both the world and it's people. As the years passed, Nathan would also marry together they would raise their daughter, Delilah. As Delilah grew up, it soon became apparent that she had inherited her father's powers; and so Nathan taught her to wield her abilities responsibly.
The Rikti War
When the Rikti invaded Earth from their home dimension, Geodynamic was one of those heroes who fought back against the invaders. Geodynamic was able to free the inhabitants of a small town in North Carolina who were taken prisoner by the Rikti; who were intending on converting them into conscripted soldiers. Geodynamic lead a combined team of superheroes and soldiers against the Rikti to free the prisoners; and then to cover their escape, used his powers to open a fissure in the earth which triggered an eruption of lava which buried himself and the Rikti alive. Geodynamic was hailed as a hero for his actions and awarded a Congressional medal for his sacrifice.
Growing up Meta
After her father's death, Delilah and her mother relocated to Paragon City, where as an architect, her mother helped in the design of new buildings for the war damaged city. Delilah attended Paragon City High School while keeping her powers a secret from her classmates. Her mother had asked Delilah not to become a superhero like her father; for fear of losing her daughter as well as her husband. Delilah did as her mother asked, and said she would stay in school and not use her powers for now.
Then one day the city was wracked by a powerful earth quake which caused an apartment building in Kings Row to collapse. Knowing she could help, Delilah used her powers to free the trapped survivors and to enable rescue workers to find several others buried in the collapse. Remembering her father's stories about the Terranians, Delilah went deep underneath the city to investigate what was happening down there. She found the Terranians at war with another race of creatures for control of the Geodyne crystal. Knowing its significance to the Terranians, Delilah aided the them and together they were able to drive the invaders back; forcing them to retreat. Like her father before her, Delilah made contact with the spirit of the earth; which asked her to take on her father mission to protect the earth and it's inhabitants. Realizing that the needs of the world were great, she accepted and gladly took her father's code name; becoming the new Geodynamic.
Life in the (and under) the big city
Delilah set out immediately to make up for the four years after her father's passing. Thanks to her connection to the earth, Delilah was able to move easily from one location to another, dealing with situations as they occurred. Her actions brought her to the attention of the would-be underworld conquerer called The Subterranean, who used his powers to hold Paragon City ransom; demanding Geodynamic submit to his will and serve as his lieutenant. Delilah refused his demands and eventually defeated The Subterranean; sending him deep underground where he would pose no threat.
Although often hailed as a hero, Geodynamic is often considered by some in the oil industry to be little more than a super-powered ecoterrorist; mainly due to her actions which have impeded or outright stopped their plans to drill for oil deposits. One such incident involved an offshore drilling platform off the United States coastline. The drillers had accidentally hit an underground gas pocket, which threatened to destroy the rig and kill the workers. Geodynamic was able to seal the pocket by reinforcing the ground around it with dense rock with made drilling impossible. Geodynamic defends her actions as necessary to maintain a balance between the societies both on and under the earth; and that without her intervention, mankind would face much greater threats.
Personality
Delilah is fun-loving and friendly outside her hero persona; she enjoys meeting new people and makes acquaintances easily She's also a notorious practical joker. As Geodynamic, Delilah is a dedicated professional, working hard till the job his done. Due to her contact with many subterranean cultures, she has leaned to be mature and diplomatic so as to prevent dangerous situations for the surface world.
Delilah was raised in a dual religious environment. Her father was Jewish and her mother is Catholic, although she was not raised under any particular faith. She respects both of her parents religions and celebrates each of their holidays equally (Chanukah with her paternal relatives and Christmas with her mother and maternal relatives, for instance). Due to this unique upbringing though, Delilah was never baptized or had a Communion, nor has she had a Bat Mitzvah. When asked about her faith, she happily replies, "I'm a religious mutt! I have a Christmas tree right next to the Menorah!"
Affiliations
Recently Geodynamic applied for and was accepted into the All Star Teen Sentinels. She is also a reservist in Longbow. She has also made friends with numerous heroes throughout the city as well.
Powers
Earth Control
Geodynamic is a "terrakinetic", having the ability to psychokinetically manipulate, control, levitate and reshape the classic element of earth; sand, stone, rock, lava, and/or dirt and can even transform the consistency of earth and rock, such as turning a lump of coal into a diamond. She also can use this power to cause minor earthquakes and create shapes out of solid rock..
Using her abilities, Geodynamic is able to travel underground with incredible speed as she can move and replace matter in her direct path. Her most common method of transportation above ground is to levitate a large boulder and ride on top of it; like a platform.
Geodynamic is also able to summon a golem of stone to aid her in battle. This construct, which she call Bullwinkle "Because Rocky would be too obvious of a name" acts as her protector and teammate, using it's powerful form to combat enemies up close.
Geothermal Radiation Control
Geodynamic is also able to tap into the earth's geothermal energy and use it for such effects as healing herself and others, and also to envelop others in a "Fire Shield" which enables others to resist injuries better.
Heightened Senses
Geodynamic also possesses the ability to sense vibrations through the ground through tremorsense. She is able to navigate in total darkness and can sense movement; as well as determine the height and build of those she can't perceive with her eyes.
Other Abilities
Geodynamic, like her father, is a student of geology. She possesses some ability at hand-to-hand combat through training with Longbow. She also is a pretty good bass guitarist.
