Personality
Charles is an confident and optimistic teenager. However, that's not to say that he is naive. Having grown up in a city literally filled with superheroes, Charles knows how he's expected to act in costume, as well as how to get things done. Though his fusion with Novaburst broadened his knowledge of the universe, Charles doesn't want to explore the galaxy just yet.
Personality Flaws
A charismatic star lineman who is also an expert mechanic as well as a superhero, Charlie's main flaw is quite obvious. His ego. Before his fusion with Novaburst, Charles rarely encountered a problem he couldn't talk, think, or fight his way out of, and as a result considered himself a cut above the rest of the world. As life went on, his ego began to swell to larger and larger proportions until he finally merged with Novaburst. Through his fusion with Novaburst, Charles gained new perspective on social interactions, and realized that he had no real friends. While he could pretty much charm the pants off of a nun, he had never been able to get close to anyone because of his titanic ego. The acquaintances that he had were not friends, they were merely fake followers that hoped to feed off of Charlie's 'popularity'. As a result of this epiphany, Charles has been attempting to work on diminishing his ego's size. However, a person's mannerisms don't change overnight and it will be a long road.

June 5th, 1992- Charles and Emily Johnson are born to Mara and Alex Johnson, a lower middle class family living in Paragon City. Alex is a car mechanic and Mara is a martial arts instructor.
June 5th 1996->May 22nd 2002- Charles learns martial arts from his mother and mechanics from his father. By the time he is ten, he has fixed a car on his own, and has never lost a fist fight.
May 23rd->November 2002- Charles and his family escape Paragon City before the Rikti start pouring through the portals. They retreat to the house of Mara's brother in New Hampshire. Charles learns how to throw knives from his uncle who teaches him how to hunt.
December 1st, 2002- The Johnsons return to their home to find it destroyed. However, Alex's repair garage is relatively untouched. As a result of the devastation, the repair garage has an enormous boom in business. Charles learns how to fix even more advanced engines, including rudimentary jets as Alex is called to an Air Force base to help with repairs.
April 3rd, 2003- Repairs on the Johnson home are completed and they move out of the garage and back to their house.
September 4th, 2006- Charles and Emily start freshmen year at Atlas Park High School.
