Origin

Tyrone was born in Jamaica Queens, New York. He lead a pretty rough life, but still made it through college. He lived life on a day-to-day basis.

One day he was on his way home when he happened upon a man lying in the street. The man was barely moving and barely conscious. Tyrone went up to the man to see what was the matter. The man had been shot a few times and had lost a lot of blood. It was pretty obvious that the man was going to die, and soon. The man called Tyrone closer and asked him to please do him a favor. The man asked Tyrone to throw a briefcase he was carrying into a place nobody would ever find it. Tyrone agreed to the man's request.

The briefcase said "Crey" on it, and it looked pretty battered. Tyrone looked inside the briefcase to find a set of gauntlets, chest armor, and a belt. Tyrone being a "Man of opportunity," took a chance and tried on the armor.

Tyrone suddenly began to feel things he had never felt before. He was able to feel the pull of Earth's gravity on him, and everything around him. He looked at a car that was nearby and panicked that he could feel the car's weight and the car went flying at his reaction. He became even more panicked when he saw what happened, feeling rather defensive, a force field appeared around him.

As Tyrone realized what was happening, he calmed down and the shield dissipated. He began to test out his new abilities, he was able to levitate cars and crush cans, and even hurl things through the air, including himself. He realized that now he had powers, now he could become somebody...

The Move to Paragon City

Tyrone wanted to have a new start, so he needed a new name, Graviton Shield. Grav had heard about super powered beings in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles. He didn't really have any possessions to speak of, so he just took of flying south to Rode Island. He landed in Atlas Park and met a man named Kori Hitomi. Kori was recruiting for the Villains of Paragon City, a villainous organization based in Paragon City. Grav signed up and began his new life with some new friends...

The VoPC

Grav met some interesting people in the VoPC. He became fast friends with Kori, and one of his superiors Spyder.

Grav got into some fights with heroes and did some things he wasn't too proud of. But that's life for a new villain. However, due to some of his superiors noticing his achievements in the VoPC, Grav was promoted. Shortly there after, the VoPC decided to expand by creating a subdivision, called, The Spiders Web...

The Web

Grav was one of the first recruits into the Web. This was due to the fact that Spyder was the head of this new branch of the VoPC. Spyder brought along his two most trusted associates, Kori and Grav. Both men rose through the ranks in the Web due to their unquestionable loyalty and meritorious accomplishments. Kori became Spyder's second in command while Grav became third.

The Web has been a very lucrative source of income for Grav and his cohorts. They all have come up on a very comfortable life while in the service of the Web. However...

The Web's Fall

Currently, everybody associated with the Web is being hunted by Arachnos. Grav was attacked by five Bane Spiders and six Crab Spiders, they were a great challenge to Grav, but he managed to come out alive...

Powers

Grav's powers were granted to him when wearing the Crey armor he got off the dying Crey Scientist. He was granted a variety of different gravity controlling abilities and a variety of personal and projectable shields.

One day though, Grav went into the Rikti War Zone and fought the Rikti. Something unexpected happened, apparently the technology in his armor was not originally Crey technology, rather it was stolen from the Rikti. That technology had a strange reaction when it came in contact with some of the Rikti, it granted Grav permanent control of the powers, without needing to wear the armor.

There was also another unexpected benefit to fighting the Rikti, it awakened mental abilities in Grav that were either lying dormant, or they were just a side effect of the mental powers of the Rikti being used against him so much. Now Grav is able to read minds, project his thoughts, and cause mental feedback that is very painful to the recipient...
