Grim Viper has no inherent "super" powers. He relies on intense physical training and weapon skills to help him attack and survive. He also uses an array of high tech gadgets such as razor edged caltrops, laser sight targeting drones, web and smoke grenades, cloaking devices and more still in development.
Equipment
The Thorn Military Armaments(TMA) MPUR-45 Multi-Use Assault Rifle
The MPUR-45 is equipped to use an arsenal of munitions and a multitude of firing modes including .45 rounds, buckshot, M30 Grenades, and armor piercing sniper rounds. It even carries an under-barrel flame thrower for anti personnel situations. The Rifle is also equipped with the most accurate in targeting technology including a variable vision mode scope and high grade targeting sensors.
Viper Fangs
A set of heavy duty steel throwing knives. Each knife has a micro transponder that automatically teleports back to Grim Viper's belt for later use.
Leaping
Using Viper Strike Hydraulics in a pair of Piston Boots, Grim Viper can leap great distances and heights.
Fitness
Grim Viper's high fitness level comes from nanobots generated by his suit that constantly rebuild damaged and exhausted tissue.

A compact device that heals Grim Viper or any allies that he might have.
Armor
The V.I.P.E.R Armor
Variable Impervium Projectile & Energy Resistance-V.I.P.E.R
1)A kevlar weave hood and mask. The mask also has a light weigh Impervium plate lining through out to protect against head attacks.
2)A battle suit using the most up-to-date Thorn Military Armaments technology. It is made of an advanced Kevlar laced titanium micro chain mail and light weight Impervium armor plates built onto the whole suit. It also uses an advanced LCD body coating that can bend light away from himself becoming partially invisible for extra stealth.
3)A set of light weight Impervium gauntlets. These included forearm plates that can be used for melee combat and defence. The gauntlets also house a set of smoke emitters that release a thick smoke used to blind a foe. Grim Viper also houses extra Viper Fangs under the plates of each of his gauntlets. He also has a removable communications device in the back end of his right gauntlet. It features a police scanner for monitoring criminal activity.

5)A set of Impervium shoulder guards used to stabilize leaps and deflect attacks away from the neck.
6) A fire proof cape to shield against fire blasts and intense heat.

Abilities
Through intense training Grim Viper is a skilled marksman and decent combat fighter. He is also a mechanical genius with the ability to create complex machines and devices to aid in his missions.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Although Grim Viper is a highly trained mercenary/Hero, he is still only human and is just as vulnerable as any normal man of his stature. The other only weak point is his family. Threats against them can cause him bouts of unclear thinking leading to impulse decisions and mistakes
History
Family Insight
Daniel Thorn
Daniel Thorn was born to Wanda and Joseph Thorn twenty five years ago. He grew up fairly normal for a child of a billionaire weapons developer. Danny was born with a genius level IQ and sailed through school, graduating college with two degrees by the age of twenty. He joined his father's company, training with and soon taking over the Security Forces Division of Thorn Military Armaments. While there he was a pioneer in using Impervium to make armors, often field testing the suits himself, as well as nano technology to keep soldiers fitness levels higher for longer amounts of time. All was well until a year ago when his father was taken in a Council raid meant to force him to make weapons for them. Although he has not been seen since, Danny refuses to believe that his father is dead and he has become a rallying point for his family. Having gained full control of TMA, he now uses his own secret lab to make and test the armaments he uses in his Grim Viper persona. Daniel was recently appointed co-director of the special forces group, Knight Force.
Dr. Joseph Thorn
Joseph was the founder of Thorn Military Armaments(TMA) and was a leader in weapons making. His main rival was the underhanded Crey Industries, but in resent years the Council has been very interested in "acquiring" TMA technology for their own personal use. Many of these raids have been successfully ended thanks to the assistance of the city's Heroes. Knowing the importance of security in Paragon Joseph branched out in the security field by opening a personal security force division with in TMA. Although criticized as being mercenaries these forces are highly trained commando-like agents known for being able to get the job done against all but the most powerful of threats. But all the security and heroes could not help him when ,a year ago, his lab was raided by a large platoon of Council troops. They raided a few weapons but the main thing they came for was Dr. Thorn himself. A sea of green soon over took the halls and labs and once they found their target he was kidnapped and it all ended just as quickly as it started. Dr. Joseph Thorn has not been heard from since, he is presumed dead by the PPD. Even though the police can no longer help, his family will not sit by and do nothing. Daniel has now taken control of TMA and has become the Hero Grim Viper, to search for and take revenge on those who have caused his family so much pain.
Wanda Thorn
Wanda is the matriarch of the Thorn family. She met Joseph by taking a job as a secretary at TMA and they soon fell in love. Following a year of courtship the two were soon married and son Daniel was born in the summer of 1983. Wanda gave up work to become a full time mother and two years later she had another child, daughter Ashley. Wanda raised her children properly and gave them real world values that they hold to this day. When her husband was kidnapped a year ago, Wanda was the most hurt, but she has stood strong and continues to be a rock for herself and her Hero children.
Ashley Thorn
Ashley is the youngest member of the Thorn family at age twenty two. She too has been gifted extreme intelligence and has taken over Daniel's place as head of the Security Forces Division of Thorn Military Armaments. She is different than most there as she refuses to use firearms in combat, instead Ashley has become a talented archer using a high tech bow of her own design and wide array of special arrows. Unfortunately the event of the past year have left Ashley a very cold individual and because of this she has quite the reputation of being a loner. The only people she really trusts and warms up to are her mother and brother.
