Character

In-Game Description

Just a little girl trying to survive in the Isles. No one knows her name, but she looks to be 12-14 years old. Her trademark is the filthy stocking cap she wears; she's rarely seen without it. It's probably from a Halloween costume, or some child's dress up accessory long ago trashed. Regardless, the young street rat adores it, and it's become her namesake. It's unknown whether or not she possesses any powers, but she is very agile and resilient -- possibly a mutation, or just quick adaptation to her surroundings.

Is a pickpocket, and wears a bandanna or scarf over her face to keep from being recognized and arrested - if seen without it, she is unrecognizable as 'the Grunge Bunny'.

Is completely Natural; Ninja Run = parkour

History

The girl known by many as "The Grunge Bunny" is not a furry. Honest. GB is simply a prepubescent human girl. She gets her nickname from the ragged, dirty stocking cap she wears and is rarely seen without. Those who have gotten a close enough look say the knit cap is probably from a Halloween costume, or one of those cheap dress-up accessories found in drugstores. Chances are GB found it in a dumpster -- though she possibly stole it -- and clings to it as though it were her last vestige of childhood.

Because, apparently, it is.

If a psychiatrist were to have a session or three with Grunge Bunny, she would see this young girl as ordinary, with a fracture in her mind. She doesn't have Dissociative Identity Disorder, nor does she speak with a three-year-old's lisp. The only sign of anything wrong would be her constant need to wear or be in contact with her hat. As she has become more infamous on the Isles -- a kid's tale or legend -- GB has learned to not wear the hat when meeting other people, but she does keep it tucked inside a pocket in her denim jacket.

Miscellaneous/OOC

Theme Song

"For Those Who Wait" - Fireflight

I pick most of my theme songs for my characters the same way. I'll be driving somewhere and a song on the radio hits me just the right way, and I can see a montage of my toon set to that music. A little cheesy, but seems to work. The lyrics "There is a purpose for those who wait" stuck in my mind, because I want GB to be my first "Rogue" character; she's not a bad person, and ultimately I want her to move to Paragon City. At this point in time she's only heard rumors of Paragon, and that maybe it hold a better life for people who aren't into this whole villainy thing. There will be a turning point possibly once she hits 30 (at the time of this writing [05.28.10] she is 27) which will give her new resolve to leave the Isles, but she'll learn she needs to bide her time and save money and resources.

In character, GB does odd jobs for people (contacts) mostly for money but sometimes for protection. She has never robbed a major [or minor] bank in Paragon City.
