History
Origin
Ivan was born a seemingly normal child and went thru life with no major problems until his 13th birthday. During his party a stray bee stung his neck and he went into anaphlyactic shock. This event triggered his mutation to arise. He shouted out, sending out a shockwave of sonic energy. Ivan is no longer able to speak and only a terrible sonic force will come out when he tries. Ivan learned sign language and joined a "normal" highschool, Paragon High. The family friend and eccentric inventor Professor Eliot Beige taught him basic science and engineering. The Professor developed a sonic force weapon for high profile weapons company, Stryker industries, and convinced them to let him field test it on the Boy. Crafting a heroic origin for him.
After gaining his powers and working on his hero costume he set off into the city to work on building a name for himself. Soon after he was set up by Hero Corps with a group of young heros called The Teen Templars!
Teen Templars
Working with the Templars he made many friends and worked hard to overcome his handicap of muteness. Working with people like Max aka Smoking Mirrors and Dex (Bow-Slinger) he made some friends and stopped some criminals. Unfortionately as School started up the young heroes seemed to all go on a hiatus leaving the active members few and far between. Hyper Bee has since quit the team and now works solo.

Appearance
Personality
Dispite his inability to speak, Ivan remains upbeat and chipper. He's always up for a party or just hanging out and just generally likes to stay positive even in the bad times.
Powers
Sonics
At age 13 Ivan's mutant powers came to full effect. He has the ability to unleash horrific sonic wailing and blasts. Unfortunatly he is unable to direct these on this own, and just opening his mouth to speak causes an explosion of nasty sonic noise and force!
Mute-tation
The scientists at G.I.F.T. and S.E.R.A.P.H. have determined that something in his mutation did not develop properly and this is why he is unable to control it, but more importantly why he is unable to speak! As it stands opening his mouth will cause his sonic powers to explode with force causing his voice to sound garbled and distorted coming out as a deafening buzz, like a swarm of electronic bees.
Stryker MK 1: Sonic Force Projector
Family friend and R&D worker at Stryker industries, Proffessor Eliot Beige created the Striker MK1: SFP as a well to help Ivan use his abilities. With it he is able to direct his sonic blasts with near pin-point accuracy as well as adjust the size and radious of the blast!
Stryker XM Custom
Working with the hero XM Radio Ivan and he modified his Stryker SFP mask to recycle his voice and allow him to speak dispite his mutated vocal cords. The voice box that emits his voice comes out slightly auto-tuned.
Memory-cloth combat flight pack
Using some memory cloth and a small engine he has crafted a pair of light-weight wings capable of short distance flight at high speeds! he can use them for airborne combat and for traveling around the city to get him to crime faster. The "wings" when inactive sit as a small cape in the shape of insect wings and when activated by controls in his gloves a small electric charge hardens them into hard "bee wings" that move at high speeds to create flight!
Bio-Energy
His body produces a large ammount of bio-energy. This energy is what super-charges his vocal cords creating the destructive force sonic blasts he uses to fight criminals. Using the help of his friend, Professor Eliot Beige, he invented a pair of wrist-bound devices that harness this energy.
Stingers
The stingers are what he has dubbed these wrist-bound gauntlets. They allow him to harness his natural bio-energy into a quick powerful strike. These strikes can leave large welts like a bee-sting.
